Cancer affects each of us, whether we know it or not, through the lives it takes and those it who beat it.

It needs to stop and we need a cure, but until that day comes we need support.

MedGift is a patient registry for those with any type of health related issue who need support. Families and friends don't always know how to help you, they don't know what you are going through and can feel just as helpless as you. This is one way you can join together in your battle and get rid of that helpless feeling.
MedGift can help you get funds for treatment, transportation, and even followup visits. There is no limit to what MedGift can help you do and they help thousands each year take that pressure off themselves and their loved ones.
You don't have cancer? That doesn't prevent MedGift from helping you! MedGift will help you through any illness. Autism. Elderly care. MS. MedGift can help with it all. Has your loved one passed away during their battle? MedGift can help with that. Did you suffer a tragic event while ill and now have added strain on you? MedGift can help. There is no limit to what MedGift can do, no illness that MedGift can't help with. No one is too old, too young, or too sick. There is no such thing as "not sick enough" and there are no excuses. MedGift will help financially, mentally, and emotionally, giving you all the support you could ever need but were too afraid to ask for before.
MedGift not only CAN help with your struggles, but they WANT to help. Diem Brown, the founder of MedGift, wanted nothing more than for her own struggles with Ovarian cancer to help shed light on the struggles that patients went through on a day to day basis. Though she lost her battle, her legacy continues to help those who are still going through theirs and who have other, equally devastating, illnesses of their own.

Dancing with angels even while she walked on Earth.

Diem Brown was a brave and beautiful woman from the moment she was born until the moment she drew her last breath. She grew to fame on MTV having competed in 8 challenges while sharing her experiences with cancer along the way. In 2005, while filming Real World/Road Rules: Fresh Meat, Diem announced that she had been diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. She went into the Challenge: The Duel in 2007 having just finished chemotherapy, being cleared to complete. She removed her wig for an episode with a mud challenge, which was one of the most touching and inspiring moments in television history. In 2012, after 6 years of remission, Diem was diagnosed with Ovarian cancer a second time. She delayed her treatments in order to harvest eggs so she could one day have children of her own, and in 2013 the cancer went back into remission. Two weeks after her final chemo treatment, Diem went on to do The Challenge: Rivals II because doctors had told her that "seeing 2013 was unlikely" and she wanted to live every day as fully as she could. She went to do her final challenge, Battle of the Exes II: Ex-tra Baggage, with ex-boyfriend Chris "C.T." Tamburello, in Panama. During filming, Diem collapsed and had to be airlifted to New York where she was diagnosed a third time with Ovarian cancer, only to be told it had spread to her colon and stomach. After 8 years of battling Ovarian cancer Diem passed away on November 14th, 2014 but not before she touched the world by creating livingforthechallenge which then morphed into MedGift, a registry for those with medical conditions who needed help.
Diem is survived by her father and 3 siblings. She was predeceased by her mother. She is also survived by millions of fans along with the cast and crew of The Challenges and everyone whose lives she has touched through MedGift.
