In the beginning, only darkness and silence existed. Matter did not exist, nor beings of any kind. In a blinding flash; life was created. Not the planets, galaxies, and stars as we know it, but a forger of such things. A creature was born whose only purpose was to mold, fire, and craft worlds, giving them their own beginning. This creature, creator of all, was known as Omnipresence.
Omnipresence was a great being, more massive than everything except the universe itself. This creature was formed into the shape of a slender, pure dragon with feathered wings and a dainty body. Neither evil nor good thoughts passed through its mind, only thoughts of creation.
This great dragon settled in areas of the universe to forge for extended periods of time. Such areas of dense creation were referred to as galaxies. These enormous entities grew larger than even the creator itself as he forged and built endlessly. Galaxies were to exist as if they were their own universe; self-contained and self-sustained.
Each galaxy contained insurmountable numbers of smaller entities such as stars, planets, moons, novas, comets, and many more. The smallest of stars, only winking celestial bodies, dotted the deep, dark universe. These stars were the aftermath of great forging. Although seemingly tiny and insignificant, these tiny bodies were to be the navigation system of all the universe; beacons for lost souls.
Great bodies at the center of each system were molded purely of the dragon's fire; the warmth and light needed for life to exist. These bodies burned brightest and hottest so as to feed the whole system with life-giving heat. Such great bodies were created not only to give life to beings that would exist on planets, but also to give birth to the planets themselves. These great bodies were, in essence, the forges of the creator.
Each diminutive entity was given careful consideration when forged; how dense and massive the body was to be, what the climate should be, if life was to exist at any level, and which system this world would call home once finished. These smaller entities were called planets. Planets were the most cautiously constructed of all as many would become homes for the living beings that would populate them. The environment was constructed just so in order to establish the perfect setting for living beings.
When planets were not forged as planned, they became other entities such as moons, comets, meteors, or other mostly lifeless bodies. Such entities were cast aside until further plans could be made. Some were coupled with planets to stabilize its conditions and became the planet's moon. Others became great, burning bodies to help light the planet's surface. No entity was left without a purpose.
Creation was at a high, the universe expanding to wondrous lengths, when the universe gave birth to another creature. This creature's purpose was to counteract creation and bring balance to the universe. While Omnipresence brought light and life to the universe, this other being would bring darkness and death.
