This is my story.

the noble truth of suffering

Birth is suffering, living, growing older is suffering. To tell the truth I felt I should just die, falling on the ground, stop breathing - but in the end also death was suffering. Whenever I saw wealthy people walking by, not even casting a glance on that hungry child, clinging on the ground in some dirty cloths, I felt the suffering again. Why was it me, having no shelter, no food, no health? I remember a time, when everything was good, as there was warmth, love and secureness. Soon I realised that mourning about the past was also suffering.

As I attained manhood I realised that craving to become a healthy man again was suffering. It was suffering thinking of suicide but it was also suffering to be, as long as I would be lusting for a future that would only please my body and not my mind. I left the colony behind, making a pilgrimage to the mountain, searching for a place to shuffle off all vice, greed and obsessions.

It has been weeks or months, I couldn't count, but the longer I was wandering around the more I was able to free my mind. I had everything I needed. Water in the river, berries and roots on the ground, air to breath. Why was I longing for greed, vice and other obessions? The nature gave me all I needed to live. When it was raining or cold I found shelter in a cave.

The nature became my mother, my father. It was my patron in spring and summer, my assayer in autumn and winter. A natural symbiosis of give and take.

Years passed by, my mind calmed down.
Through all this time I had seen so many people, wandering around, asking what I do all alone high in the mountains.

"I live"

was my answer every time. I live. I live with nature, I live in balance. I live without any negative desire.
So it happened that over these years many people stayed by my side. Following my lead and conviction.

I feared that so many people would harm natures inviroment. We began to search for a barren landscape where it was possible to live without damaging mother earth at least.
High in the mountains, surrounded by wind and freedom we built a temple half into the rocks. Once again nature gave us shelter, a place to live.

Meditation, prayers, but also martial arts to strength body and mind became a daily routine.

We not seek for wealth, lots of money or getting the newest car. We seek for our inner strength.
My way is martial arts. I try to improve. Meditation became secondary. If you want to learn more about meditation, I would say, go and visit my student Lhasa. She became a true expert, learned it way faster than everyone else.
