The shop was quiet today. The sounds of the waves crashing could be herd from the front of the store. It was music to my ears. It seamed to be the only sound today other than the occasional tourist popping in. Mostly looking for something to take back home with them. The front door opened with a chime of a bell. I turn to the customer. It would seem as though Lance was here for his Guitar.

"Sopranos, got by baby all fixed up for tonight?"

He said hopefully. He was one of the locale musicians here of the island. He Plays most night on the beach front stage for tourists.

I nod and wave my hand at him, signaling it was out back. He nods and walks over to some of the guitars on the wall. turning and walking past the tapestry covering the workshop area i grab the burnt orange guitar. Double checking the strings and putting it in the case. i bring it back to the front. Once in the front i tap on the glass bell on the desk, grabbing Lance's attention. He walks over with a happy glee.

"thanks man, you always do the best work. Will i be seeing you tonight on the shore? Hana will be there waiting."

Lance winks at me, making me blush ever so slightly. I nod my head reluctantly. His grin becomes a full of smile. Hes been trying to get me down to the beach for a while now. He keeps saying she is waiting for me. Though i see her every day, We don't spend much time together anymore.

Giving him a wave of my hand i shoo him out the door. Dealing with him gives me a headache. I sigh and look at the time. Six o'clock pm, Time to close shop. After turning off all the lights and locking up i turn to the ocean. The sounds of the waves were being out done by guitars and singing. Lance was most likely down there now.

Giving in the the pull i made my way down the dirt road. once the sandy shore came into view i looked around for Lance. Seeing him on the stage i waved at him, telling him i was hear. He nodded and waved his head toward the rocks off to the side. Hana must be over there. Once i come to the sea salted rocks i sat down. I wait there for about three or four songs. After a while i hear a small giggle. I smile to myself. It would seem she finally showed up. I could hear it getting louder and then it hit me.

"Hana! Get off your father. You know better than that little one."

I smile at the giggling girl smiling down on me. She smiles at her mother and lets me get of the sand with a pull on my sleeve. She takes my hand and guides me to the dancing tourists. I look over to my wife and smiles at me. Shinning green eyes look back at me, shrinking as her smile widens.

Picking up my pace i scoop up my Hana and take her in my arms. We begin to dance. These are moments i have come to love. Swinging her around and around making us dizzy. Soon we topple to the ground, her laughter loud as the sea. I smile at her as she runs of after a hug to join some other children at the front.

Still sitting in the sand i feel a hand on my back. Looking up i see my wife. Taking her hand i pull her down to the sand, getting a small laugh out of her. We sit there a while looking into the sea. Glancing every once in a while at Hana with loving eyes. Tracing letters of love into my wife's hand i close my eyes and lean against her. Soon dozing of for a while waiting for Hana to get tired so we could go home. But for now ill wait in silence, like always.
