It can be very hard to tell The Creator was ever human. His physical appearance is one thing, what with distinctly being a pink-haired cat on two legs, but the more important part is how long he's lived.
He claims to be a God, and centuries of life have given him skills far beyond those of mortals at minimum. While he claims to be benevolent, he's so lost in his own view of the world to really see what he's doing.
In the end, he can only be his own downfall.
