Tigrean sat carefully on the blanket, and wriggled slightly, to get comfortable. He'd had a very busy day so far, exploring the sights and smells of the city, and being a young Tigrean, it was starting to make him tired. The day started with a visit to the river, where he'd waved to the passengers on the boat trips, making sure he was safely back from the edge so he didn't fall in of course. A short walk even for a small Tigrean, lead him to the railway line, where he sat on a bench and waited for a train to pass. This train wasn't like the normal ones that zoomed past - this train breathed smoke! Coughing slightly, trying to shake the smoke from his fur, he waved at all the passengers, and was amazed when some even waved back at him.

By now, Tigrean was in the heart of the city, which felt like a country all of its own. Hundreds of people were milling around, taking photos of things, and gazing at the shops, but Tigrean had a ticket to see the view from an unusual place - from the top of the church tower. He wasn't overly enthralled with the spiral staircase, least of all the 350 steps it took to get to the top, but as he sat and posed for a photo, with the view in the background, he felt it was worth it.

Resisting the temptation to slide down the hand rail, he jumped down every one of the steps, and found himself back amongst the tourists again. All this walking was making him hungry, so he took the opportunity to find a small ice cream shop. Picking out the tastiest looking cone, with a tall thin chocolate bar in the ice cream, he found another bench to sit on. He knew that it was better to sit and savour a treat like this, as with all those people about, they could bump into him easily, and make him drop his ice cream.

A pigeon landed at his paws, staring at the cone as Tigrean licked away the ice cream. He might be a fearless Tigrean, but he hadn't met a pigeon before, and kept his eye on it, until he only had a small piece of his cone left over. Looking around to make sure nobody was watching, he dropped the last piece onto the floor and watched as the pigeon gobbled it up. He was sure the pigeon wasn't all that hungry - with all the people eating outside, they were bound to drop enough for a pigeon to eat, but he felt guilty not giving it something.

By this time, his paws were aching, so he decided to take his travelling companion to the park, so they could sit in a deckchair and soak up the sun for a while. His companion had no idea how to get a deckchair set up, so they wandered on, until they found two deckchairs that were already set up.
Setting out his little blanket to sit on, he wriggled slightly, to get comfortable, while his companion lined up another photo. Tigrean was looking forward to seeing the photos when they got back to the hotel, and wondered if they would ever be made into a book. He'd already planned out the front cover and title in his head while he was wandering around the city: Tigrean, the adventures of a plushie Tiger.
