the forest beast

A creature considered a myth by many, Ysren most closely resembles an enormous stag but is something else entirely. He resides deep inside the forest that has always been his home and serves as its protector; should any humans venture too far into his territory, only those that truly respect the forest and its creatures will live to tell the tale.

One such lucky human is Sylvana, a girl that helped him when he was caught in a mage-made trap designed for beasts such as himself. Although he is certain he would have managed to escape and recuperate without assistance, Ysren has a fondness for the rare humans that overcome their instinctive fear and approach him, and Sylvana seems unable to stay away from his forest for long.
