Somewhere in Centropolis you hear a scream. The wind is relatively calm, but still it forces a dull chill upon the back of your neck. You glance around, to the left, to the right, one more time, looking over your shoulder with heightened senses, but there is no one there. You're sure that shrieking cry sounded at least a few blocks away, yet you hurry along a little bit faster, because Centropolis can get a bit scary at night.

There are stories, whispers amongst the citizens, of a pet who defies the norm, one of exceptional prowess and stamina. No one except the criminals he catches seem to have seen him. The newspapers call him 'The Diamond'. The first thing anyone sees of him is an emerald green, diamond shaped arrow tip flying towards them, merely making it over their shoulder, and planting itself into a wall or a partner in crime standing behind them. The rest, they say, is a blur of motion; a figure in deep, forest green hood framed by a dance of arrows, punches, kicks and twists.

His name is Zwickey, to the outside world he is a writer, a reporter; or simply that kid who is late to just about everything imaginable. However, little does the world know, he gets up to a whole lot more in his free time. He's still in college, studying the a-game that is literacy and multimedia, but frankly, Zwick is beyond that. He's good at what he does, and he knows it. If it weren't for his tutor, Oliver, perhaps he wouldn't even be there at all.

Oliver is a man who you do not argue with. If he says something, you do it. He has a strong command about him, one that you simply do not wrestle with. He is taller than Zwickey and has short cut, sandy brown hair that is partnered with a stubby rough beard. He'd come from abroad and came to Centropolis one evening to research the same group of bandits that Zwickey was reporting on.

And that's how it all began; two masked vigilantes daring to do what only others dare to dream about.
