Alici grew up in a foster home with six brothers and two sisters in a large country house. Although they couldn’t be said a conventional family, Mrs. Edwards was like a real mother for them, she made the kids young little adults teaching them how to take care of the house and how to take care of each other.
Their favorite hobbie was to play make-believe, sometimes they were kings of middle ages castles, sometimes they were sky pirates or zombies from the underworld, but usually they were just a normal home with mother father and children. For some reason that was their favorite one. And Alici was always the mother, just because she was the best cook.
She liked to pretend to open a Candy Shop at their tree house, where all the kids could go and buy cakes and pastry with paper golden coins. She grew up with the dream of having a big bakery shop in a three house.
When mrs. Edwards died, Alici became the house chief, and since then the family never stopped to grow up. Although Alici never opened her bakery shop, there was always a big evening tea at the house, with so many kids at the table she could barely count. And that was surely much better!
