-- DESCRIPTION
Selphers is a tiny, petite little mutt. She weighs a mere nine pounds. Her appearance is rather deceiving, as she seems plump simply due to her fluffy fur. When she was born, she was a dark brindle color, but as she aged she became a soft beige color with hints of her puppy coat. Overall she is beige, with her muzzle being a lighter cream color and white coming down from under her chin throughout her tummy, feet and inner legs. The ends of her long ears are dark brown -- which matches her nose, eyes and the tip of her tail.

-- PERSONALITY
Stubborn is the best way to describe her. She truly has a mind of her own, and while she shows loyalty and affection to those she cares for -- ultimately it depends on her mood, and whether or not she "feels" like doing it. However, outside of her difficult temperament, she can be rather silly and genuinely goofy. She tends to be air-headed, not necessarily understanding things as they occur. She also doesn't like to do much of anything. She's happy doing a whole lot of nothing.

-- STORY
Born in the outskirts of a small lake town, Selphers was part of a litter of four. She was usually picked on for being so passive, and allowed her liter-mates bully her for the most part. She had the tendency of being extremely passive, which in part is why her new family chose her.

When she arrived home with her adoptive family, she was a bit unsure of her surroundings. She was very shy and quiet, which her new family enjoyed. They dressed her in adorably frilly pink outfits and sweaters, and took her around to places where dogs were not normally allowed. She was spoiled from the very beginning and she enjoyed her new life. Eventually she warned up to her family and she began being herself -- a spunky, silly and playful pup that loved to eat and sleep. Now that she was alone, and did not have her siblings picking on her, she let loose.

Sadly, however, her new family had to move back to another location with extended family. There she met Jewelle and Benny. Jewelle was mellow and relaxed, while Benny was a bit frisky and had a tendency of being grumpy.

At first Selphers was intimidated by the newer individuals in her life and it took her some time to accustom to the new changes. When she did become comfortable, however, that once timid and bashful nature became dominant. She enjoyed picking on Benny and chasing him around the house, even though for the most part he wanted to keep to himself. She also became stubborn, which was unlike her when she was a puppy.

Eventually she became overbearing towards Benny, but because he was rather patient he dealt with her. Jewelle also kept her in line, also sharing her patience with the rowdy pup. While Selphers continues to be stubborn and hard-headed and many things, she is still passive towards her family members and listens for the most part.

She continues to enjoy her life of laziness and finding any good corner to cuddle up and fall asleep to pass her days.
