Noelle Profile to Profile | Thank you for being understanding about the delay in my responses. Thank you, and thankfully with our car it wound up just being a loose bolt. So it was an easy fix and our go to mechanic felt so bad about it he offered a free oil change. We told him no harm no foul and he's always been awesome working with us, so not to worry about it. My hubby has been debating on just buying a brand new toyota corolla, which I'm not sure if it's something we really need. Hopefully some day we might be able to do that. Wow, that is so crazy that they were asking almost new car prices on a car that was 5 almost 6 years old and that many miles. It's so crazy how expensive things have gotten. Aww...giving your hubby the choice of a nice dinner out is a great gift! I have so many food allergies that we rarely ever eat out. There is one place in town that I can control what goes into it as it's a Mongolian Grill. I'm the one that picks and chooses the veggies, meat, sauces and then they scrub a spot on the grill, partition it off and cook my stirfry away from others so there isn't any cross contamination. However, due to the virus they had to close for awhile and lost all their best grill cooks. Now the guys that do the cooking are so slow with the whole process it takes me a half hour from start to finish and most the time my husband is already done eating. So, I mostly just cook everything from scratch at home. Gets tedious after awhile, but oh well, there are worse things in life. I'm just thankful we have food. :) That my sister is, I don't know how she does it. They certainly keep her on her toes, and it's a good thing she is a nurse. Their one son needs a feeding tube as he has a ton of food allergies and she has to change out every now and again, plus he suffers from seizures. The oldest one has various challenges, but nothing like the youngest. They recently moved back to Texas, so they enjoy taking the boys and their daughter who they also adopted (she doesn't have any medical/developmental challenges) to the beach quite often and the boys especially love it there. They also have 3 biological kids on top of the 3 they adopted. The bio kids are all adults, two are married with kids of their own. I admire them and all they go through. I hope Christmas plans are going well for you! I finally got my husband's gifts wrapped, and after my lunch comes out of the oven, I'll be baking our smoked spiral ham. My hubby wants me to cook up a pork tenderloin for our Christmas meal, so I'll cook that up tomorrow along with a hashbrown casserole. I also need to make some homemade gluten free biscuits and then sausage gravy for having biscuits and gravy with our coffee Christmas morning. After that, I'm not doing much cooking for a week. lol |
