Pete
Pete (peet) is a middle-aged, grubby man from Riverside Valley with thinning hair and a considerable paunch. He asks for the help of Subetans in obtaining rare and exotic foods from around the world. In return, he rewards them with hard to find items.
Biography
As a child Pete was treated to various rare cuisine by his parents. They would frequently have new and exciting dishes for the enjoyment of their home. But Pete's love of food didn't stop with rare, fancy, or exotic food. He loved anything and everything, frequently cleaning his plate, even if the fare was of lower quality than most of his meals.
As Pete grew into the awkward teenage stage he decided to dedicate his life to sampling every single food item on Subeta. He knew that to achieve such a goal that he would need plenty of money and the help of others who shared his dream. To that end he went on a globe spanning trek, searching for hidden treasures, hoards of cash and valuable items. His quests took him to the far reaches of Subeta and back again. He even went to Atebus to visit the Ikumoradeekanox for its rare fruits.
Pete spent years wandering Subeta in this fashion, toiling away and building himself a small fortune and obtaining some very sought after items. When he returned to Riverside Valley to settle in for a while, he started asking for the other Subetans for help in getting food, offering up treasures from his past travels for those friendly enough to lend him a hand.
Riverside Valley is where you'll find Pete these days, still offering up forgotten treasures from his past for anyone who decides to help him with his dream.
