In Their Own Words: Cosplay, made me laugh when I looked it up.Before it was every named, it really started with people like me. I went to the first Star Trek Con in L.A. IN costume. I have gone to as many sci fi cons as I could in costume as my favorite character, Vulcan! Then it was not Cosplay, it was called "insane", among other things. My how times change. So I had to go back to my roots, it may not be flashy or up to date, but for me, it's appropriate.
