In Their Own Words: The character I am cosplaying is Darien as she is introduced in Atwater-Rhodes' book Falcondance. Darien is a falcon-shapeshifter trapped in Ecl which basically means she has lost herself to her magic and is trapped in the nightmares of her own mind. This not an uncommon problem in Ahnmik but in Darien's case she didn't lose herself, she merely withdrew into herself.
