In Their Own Words: Mello from the anime series "Death Note," as shown during the infamous (spoiler alert) explosion scene. I chose this particular image because my zombiefied rash slightly resembles the burn scars that eventually cover half of this man's body as a result of this explosion. Looks much better with the Hiken hairstyle, but it seems to be missing from the Wardrobe at this time. This particular cosplay is heavily based off a piece of fanart called "Come and Get Me" by a user called "claudiakat" on deviantart.

In Their Own Words: My inspiration was Flounder from Disney's Little Mermaid. I went for a simple, clean look since Flounder's design is very basic but memorable. The most attention was paid to the colours, since an actual fish shape can't be replicated on a human avatar.

In Their Own Words: Well, I happened to be playing Final Fantasy X-2 when the event started, and I noticed everyone getting into the cosplaying.
