In Their Own Words: The first time I saw Hayao Miyazaki's animation "Spirited Away" I was blown away. The detail, the music and the effect it had was magnificent, and left a lasting impression long after the credits had ended. The themes and messages this film conveys (such as friendship, determination, love, growing up, etc.) are truly beautiful, and something everyone can appreciate. It is both witty and heartbreaking, but most of all it is impressive. In tribute to this stunning film I have created an avatar of the protagonist Chihiro, although it doesn't do it much justice. :)
