In Their Own Words: I chose to cosplay Melfina from the anime Outlaw Star, because she's one of my favorite characters from the series. She's a bioandroid who functions as a key part of the ship's navigation system...but she has lots of questions about why she was even created in the first place and spends the entire series searching for the answers. She's usually very sweet and soft-spoken, but she's also one tough cookie when she wants to be. A psychic cactus got on her bad side once...and it ended up stomped to kingdom come.
