In Their Own Words: I did Anita Blake from Laurell K. Hamilton's books the Anita Blake Vampire Hunter Series. My best friend, Drinking_silver, and my sister love this series of books. So I decided that I would do the main character of the series.

In Their Own Words: I thought this particular anti-motivational poster was so funny, so I decided to cosplay the girl in it with her cats. However, it is said to be Bill Kaulitz...but I'm not entirely sure that's quite correct. In any event, this is the best I could do to cosplay the image. Enjoy!

In Their Own Words: Inspired by Ann McCaffrey's 'Dragonriders of Pern' series, with some acceptions made towards dragon colour (though I suppose the white dragon could be assumed to be Ruth, the only white dragon in the series). The smaller dragon in this cosplay is representative of the fire-lizards or 'dragonets' from early on in the series. As a background, the dark clouds were chosen to represent a scene 'in Between' (in reference to a term common to the series).

Unfortunately I couldn't find an adequate mask/helmet thing (you know what I mean).

In Their Own Words: In the TV show Supernatural, Casey (played by Sasha Barrese) is a young bartender possessed by a demon. She serves her one, true god Lucifer, lamenting his fall from grace. When Dean Winchester, a demon hunter, traps her and tries to kill her, Casey sneers that she did not kill anyone, stating that one need only "nudge humans in the right direction and they’ll walk right into hell with big fat smiles on their faces."
Stuck in a basement with Dean (she trapped by a Devil's Trap and him stuck by collapsed rubble) they soon develop a tolerance for one another, even somewhat beginning to like each other. She compares her beloved Lucifer to Dean's Christian God, remarking that Lucifer was simply an angel who refused to bow down to the more pathetic human race that his God seemed to love so much.
Despite being demonic, Casey provides valuable information to Dean about his ongoing fight against Azazel, the demon that killed his mother 22 years ago, and even spares his life, though, despite Dean's pleas, she and her demonic lover are not so lucky.
This cosplay captures the more sensitive side of Casey that she develops while trapped with Dean. The black smoke is (in the show) used to represent how demons move from body to body; the ritual circle a representation of the Devil's Trap she was stuck in.
