In Their Own Words: Toph Bei Fong from Avatar: The Last Airbender
"I am the greatest earthbender in the world." -Toph Bei Fong
Toph comes from the highly acclaimed Bei Fong family, represented by the golden seal of the flying boar. Blind from birth, Toph has learned to see using vibrations felt from earthbending. Her skills lead her to lead a double life, hinding her existance by day and fighting in the local underground Earth Rumble.
This leads her to meeting Aang, the Avatar, who is searching for an earthbending teacher. Toph is reluctant at first, but soon agrees to help Aang and travel with him and his friends.
Her parents believe she is weak and fragile, until her father sees Toph display her amazing earthbending techniques and save Aang. While he knows she is strong, Toph's father disagrees with the idea of Toph traveling. As Aang and the others leave, Toph sheds a single tear.
Going against her father's wishes, Toph runs away from home to catch up with Aang, claiming her father changed his mind. She leaves with the group as her former earthbending teacher and leader of the underground fights are sent after her by her father.

I chose this cosplay because I wanted a challenge. I hadn't seen many items that could pull off a Toph cosplay. And not many people have successfully pulled off this cosplay. Toph is my favorite character from the series and I love her style, which was the other factor in this cosplay.

In Their Own Words: Grell from Kuroshitsuji, do I need an explenation? XD
Always wanted to try cospaying Grell, and I changed my HA into Grell early July. When the Cosplay Contest came, there was no doubt who I wanted to cosplay.
At first I did not know if to make his waistcoat black, grey or brown, since he is seen with all, but I chose black, since that looked best on the HA :)
He also almost have the same eyecolor as Grell have, but because of the glasses it's not easy to see.
But the glasses is a must, and of course, his chainsaw.
I just love the mad good looking characters XD
