A 900-year-old being from the now-destroyed planet Gallifrey, this man is known only as "The Doctor".
He travels through time and space, often with human companions. He has the ability to regenerate every single cell in his body in order to save himself from dying. This particular incarnation, played by David Tennant between 2005 and 2010, was memorable both for his bouts of manic enthusiasm and undeniable cruelty towards his enemies.
