In Their Own Words: tl;dr I saw a picture of Drew from Pokemon and decided to cosplay that.

I really really wanted to cosplay something Pokemon related because, well, I just love Pokemon. <3 So I opened my nDS to browse through the Pokedex on HeartGold, looking for inspiration and I saw... Roserade. Usually I'm not a fan of grass type pokemons but I still love Cherrim, Sunflora, and Roserade a lot since they look like flowers and I just love flowers. X3 Anyway, it reminded me that there was some dude in the anime that had one so I went to check on Bulbapedia to search for the name of that trainer because I haven't watch the anime for a while. Beside Ash, Brock, and Misty, I didn't really remember the names. (Well Dawn also but she shows up in DPPt games so whatever) So yah. When I found the article about Drew, I just HAD to do this. I thought about this the moment I saw the picture. Really.

In Their Own Words: Meet Chu from Yu Yu Hakusho. A demon fighter in a hellish tournament held in Spirit World. As little as he looks the part, he proves himself one of the strongest fighters participating, showing the hero Yusuke exactly why he's the leader of his team. Hardly the serious type, Chu's fighting style is one you'll find in any good bar. Get drunk. His biggest boast is "The more I drink, the stronger I get!"

In Their Own Words: This is Zexion, Number VI, from Kingdom Hearts' Organization XIII. The clothes were the obvious choice, the book represents the Lexicon (Unfortunatley I couldn't get the black one), and the black clouds around him represent a Dark Corridor.

In Their Own Words: Kamina from the anime TT Gurren Lagann.

One word can be used to describe Kamina, 'guts'. Never one to back down or run away he is a hot-blooded man who will never give up even at the darkest moment.

This cosplay is inspired on Kamina's final battle as the leader of the Dai Gurren Brigade. Even after his apparent end Kamina refuses to go out with a fight. Pulling Simon from the pits of despair he continued to fight until their victory when he finally lets death claim him.

Of course a true man never dies, even when he is killed.
