Pirate/Islander Shop Retirement
We've taken a look over your feedback for our planned change for old plot shops, starting with Pirate and Islander, and are working on implementing them as we speak! We were able to use some of your suggestions and are going to be able to include all item types, including wearables! We're finalizing the math, so you have two more days to spend any remaining RSW points you have--on May 15th the shop will close any points will be converted to sP.

OOOh I'm intrigued! I hope that the prize scroll from the 2014 morostide plot will eventually be included in this shop. :)

@Amber just so i'm clear, this only applies to the RS war at this time? Masq, Vesnali, and Epicon points will still be around? I just want to make sureI dont' miss out using up my trinkets from all that stuff first <3

@BoaConstrictor Not everything, no? The plan was to make collection items go direct to collections. We’ve decided to keep this but also give an option for you to buy items to do whatever you want with them (move to shop, treasure chest, etc). People just assumed if we used clothes we’d make them account bound some how.

Non account bound makes this way less exciting imo, since prices will have to be that much higher :c
That being said, I am sure my lovely little Lemon Leaf Mouse will be out of my range for a while, but still somewhat excited that he might be the remotest possibility again.

Will the new shop be structured in the same way that prize shops are now, or the Zombie Den, where there are little tabs that show which year they come from, or perhaps for this which plot? Or will it be structured like all other shops, in that things will randomly restock?

@Les When the antique shop opens, the pirate items and islander items will be there for everyone. It won’t matter which side you were a part of. :)

So can any remaining islanders finally be "forgiven" and allowed to enter Port Plunder? It really has been years, after all. And I really don't want to give up my daisy. I worked hard for the islanders, and I am saddened by how they were portrayed at the end of the plot. I shouldn't have to feel ashamed or be punished for which side I supported, and giving up a limited item is a punishment.

I could have sworn I had like 4 points left after the event, did I lose them because I left a flower for Amy? Was that a thing? Did islanders supporters loose their points for that? I don't remember, it was so long ago, but I could have sworn I had like 3 or 4 points left over.

@Seerow I’m not going to give you the exact conversion, but we’ve chosen a fair amount based on the value of points now and where we want the value of points to be. Ariel and I brought in the battle admins to make sure they agree with the prices (since weapons will appear) and we’ve discussed with programmers who have stats for how many points are left on site, etc. :)

So now I have another question. I have quite a few points in the Masq plot shop from 2 yrs ago, as well as Epicon and reading drive. When will those be closing and converted, and can you give us a hint at the ratio of exchange for the points to sP conversion?? Will it be the same for all the different currencies, will we get ample warning to spend them before they're converted? Thank you! :)

Thank you Amber. Is there a way I can be reminded of further announcements? I've tried joining a ping group for updates and whenever I click on the link to do that I get thrown ??? somewhere else. I am sorry I just woke up and I can't remember where it was that I was "thrown" when I clicked on the link (in the forums that Keith posted at some point). All I remember is that it didn't take me to the expected place where I was given the option to join the ping group. I'm technology stunted here (born in the 1950's)

@Cerredwyn Yes, we are creating one big shop that will (eventually) have all old plot prizes for sP. Before we add a shop of items, we will let people know so they can use their points before it gets transferred to sP/before the shop closes. Here is the announcement that was made where people were offering suggestions. :)

And man I wish all the weapons had overlays. :c I've always thought that there's some really cool stuff in here that'd be unique for our HAs (Siren items, blowguns etc).

I have a general question regarding the "planned change for old plot shops." I remember hearing a vague reference to this (in the news) a couple weeks ago. Someone said that "in a few days" more would be explained. I've been checking the news and I haven't seen any further discussion, but this news post refers to taking people's suggestions into account, etc.
Where is the discussion of this happening? If it's somewhere in the forums would some kind person give me a link. I have a hard time keeping up with what's going on (for a variety of reasons) and I have points in quite a few plot shops (none for Islander or Pirate however) so I'd be interested in knowing more about this. It sounds as if the shops are going to be "replaced" by shops (or one big shop?) with all the same items but available to purchase with sP. Is that right?

I don't understand what the 2nd sentence means. They're going to include all item types where? Though maybe it doesn't apply to me anyway since I wasn't a member yet during those plots.
