Learn to Bake
Are you prepared to become a baking champion? Or perhaps just learn enough to not burn everything you touch? Come visit me at my new bakery in Veta Lake, which will be open year-round, to learn how different cookies, pies, loaves of bread, and cakes!
As you cook more things and earn more experience, your level in baking will go up. As you level up, more recipes will be unlocked for you, meaning they will no longer show up greyed out on the front page! Once you get more experienced, when you go back to cook easier recipes, you’ll have a much higher success rate. After all, we know how hard baking a new thing can be, so don’t be surprised if you end up burning a thing or two!
I’ve prepared a lovely baking starter kit for everyone. I’ll make sure to give you one when you visit me for the first time!

Just so you know, burning has nothing to do with the timing of each baked good! Burning is tied to your skill level, not how long it takes you to grab a baked good from the oven. ;)

I'm glad that some ingredients are not limited to one specific item and that you can use anything that fits the description.

my baking kit is def going to go in mari's tc so i'm gonna have to wait for things like baking powder to deflate but i am. rather unreasonably excited about the chai bread and the shortbread cookies. marinette's tc is going to be so cute w

Yay! More alchemy, only it's an every day sort of thing. I was wondering if any of the baking ingredients would come in handy!
Hmmm, the starter kit could be a nice TC item, I'm not sure what the point of this baking thing is or why I spent 200k on it though.
Can someone tell me what's in the baking kit? I want to know if I should open it for my baker pet, or keep it closed for them instead.

@Caterpillar Just about every item used you can restock. :) There is one or two fruits used from the space tree, but those are things you can get if you go every day!
I have no idea what's going on but apparently my Maple cookies will be done in 14 minutes. Neato.
I had kind of hoped this would be a news post addressing the constant 502 errors, but this is adorable. eats a million cakes.
