WE'RE BACK! Here's what's changed:
All regular and most secret challengers now grant loot beyond 10 wins! This includes new prizes at high win counts!
Lots of old challengers have new loot!
Experience beyond 10 wins has increased!
Existing Cash Shop opponent weapon loot has been moved to achievements to prevent market flooding. Future CS opponent loot will be awarded as usual.
Win counts have been reset!
Opponent High Score tables will be back soon. We’ll have a news post when this is brought back!

I've been on a hiatus, so I've missed a bunch of cash shop opponents. And now, with the new loot system, I'll probably never want to buy the ones I missed. If I can only get one copy of the special loot from them...ever... why would I waste my money on unlocking the actual opponent? I'm sure that most of loot is a lot cheaper than unlocking the opponent. While I do understand that Subeta doesn't want the market flooded with items, wouldn't it make more sense to have the SubetaTeam buy up the extra undervalued stuff? Rather than nerfing the opponent loot?

Cool update, but not liking the loot achievements. I can understand multiple copies could make them less valuable but some weapons need to be fused with other loot so extra copies for those weapons are pretty important incase you need the weaker weapon for another pet. Also the fact that one of the weapons is a food item as well as a wearable is not a good thing!

I don't change my avatar very often lately, but I've actually always liked collecting weapons and things with armor-like appearances for my HAs. I dunno how many others do, but I'm sure I'm not the only one. Another thought, what about pet treasures? Those can require multiple copies, too.
It's just rather disappointing that something I paid real cash for is now no longer available and supposedly it was to benefit me and others who bought the challengers. I'm now pretty glad I didn't buy any challengers for a while, I don't think some of them would've been worth it anymore.

If that is the case then why only the CSC opponents? We bought it with CSC, with money, so it would have made more sence for all opponents. That if you already had beaten them 10x you wouldnt be able to get a new achievement (weapon). Csc opponents do often have weapons and wearables in one, and that is why i love to buy these opponents. I actually do like to wear weapons on my HA.
I had some lumi ideas, but not sure about gifting them away now, i hadnt the time to defeat Prakherash with another pet before and didnt know they would change this...

Tbh it probably is due to potential market flooding considering our last reset wasn't very long ago. The switch to achievement rewards is also only on past CS champion's weapon loot not future ones so it's definitely more targeted at people not ending up with 10+ spares instead of the 5+ they already had from beating the champs with their arsenal of pets.

Gonna add one more person unhappy with the achievements. There are plenty of opponents I either couldn't beat yet or didn't have the csc for, so now I can't get more than one copy of the weapons? A lot of these weapons are wearables too, I guess screw those who wanna use them for both without having to lose mods.

Balls, I didn't get around to Baen or Cinthi since I got too busy to focus on them. And now their loot is achievement based, so low chance of be getting extras on my own. I get why it was changed for the CS challengers, but it doesn't change that I *hate* achievement based loot. Hate it.
But, time to get crackin' on fighting once more. Going to make a spreadsheet this time so I can keep track more easily.

sad that old CS challengers that i bought but can't beat yet won't give me extra loot to my other pets in the future. the whole reason i buy them and train more than 1 pet is to have the extra loot for wearable, TC and what not. no point in training extra anymore i guess?

Where does the Chest of Golden Scales come from? Subetalodge only says it's loot but doesn't say from which opponent. Tried Lady of the waters but she kept healing 100%. Grr.

@Ambition You can still earn the loot, the only difference is now you can only earn the Cash Shop weapon and scroll loot once from the achievement, whereas in the past you were able to earn it every time a new pet could beat that opponent. All of the rest of the Cash Shop loot can be earned more than once like normal, but the weapons and scrolls can now only be earned once from the new achievements. Most of them are earned on the 5th win, but there are a few that also require a 10th win because that challenger gave out both a weapon and a scroll.

@pandemonium For me, the only down side of this is that me and other people with weaker pets will not be able to get doubled loot of weapons that are also wearable, and that kinda sucks, but most weapons aren't that worthy to keep duplicates, so it's only bad for a couple items like t10 or higher

This actually really bothers me because that means there are SEVERAL expensive loot items I will now never get. I have not been able to battle a few of the CS opponents because some are too high of tier for my pet, but I purchased a few of them anyways for the future hope of beating them. So now you are telling me that I'll never get the loot items even though it is my first time beating the opponent?

I know people are upset about the CS challenger loots now being limited to one per person which makes it hard for those who didn't buy their summoning item in past rough. But is there not a chance that Subeta will re-release those summoning items in the CS for like Black Friday or some Luminaire sale?
Then the people could grab the items and just redeem them for later fighting when they're able. I've liked the duplicates so far because I had to buy some of my higher tier loot weaps from the market since I wasn't even close to able to fight the challengers when they came out. But if they just re-release the items to get those challengers then that would certainly help??

Is there now a limit to the number of battles won to which loot drops? It used to be 10 now it is ??

Not too happy that all amulets and tomes have been taken out of the challengers.
I did all the normal challengers except for Prodigy and I only got 2 tomes (for Malerias Familiar). They were always a nice and much needed boost.
And the change in the cs loot isn't making me very happy either, we all originally bought these challengers with a idea that we could get the loot as many times as we had battle pets. I had plenty of challengers that I haven't been able to beat at all yet, I bought them in advance with the idea that I could beat them later so I haven't even gotten the loot once yet. Now with this change, I'll only get it once, so there goes my chance to earn back the (real) money I spend on it. And no way the loot price is going to be soo high it justifies the 250 csc spend on each one of them.

Omg, so awesome! Think I'm gonna avoid spoilers for the new loot and whatnot and just find out on my own. If I hadn't done 10 hours straight of battling yesterday and today, I would check this out, but I think I need a break from non-BQ battling now :D

Really excited about most of these changes and test things out, though I admit I'm a little sad about the cash shop loot/achievement thing. That's quite a few books that my weaker battle pets will never get a chance to earn.

Wow, all those Achievements only gettable if you were prescient? And could afford all the CSC throughout the years? There haven't been a ton of Achievement via CSC in the past, is this going to change?
