Yes, that is where my pet is at - training for getting to tier 11, ad it took many years. I think for about 6 months stretch I played battle quests every day but then some life stuff came up and I got off track, that was bout 4 year ago. Lately I have been just doing training, but have gotten back into battle quests.
Now that I see how those others items can be used I am waaaaay more into getting them. XD

Oh no, well, they do make amazing gifts ! And I can turn in 300+ amulets and get maybe 20 tomes. I have terrible luck.
Training takes many, many years. I think I have two pets that I've been training for 8 years that are barely t12 because I haven't used boosters, or used their experience pointsand also I sometimes went months without training. I just don't focus on them as much as I do my main pet.

My suggestion for people who can't beat him yet-Do the battle quests every day. It made my training speed up massively when I realized how much XP I could get from that!

Wow! I don't have those things laying around because I usually gift them to people or sell them. I didn't realize they did anything. I only know about the mage amulets, but I am incredibly unlucky. I think of all the many I've turned in I've gotten two tomes. Haha! I will check for your comment now. Thank you so very much for the information! @pointycatears I believe it's an Aeanoid too. Since we're talking cryptid pets and you can grow Aeanoids in the Veta Gardens, it makes total sense.
I think Blake means 'a bit newer' as if the Escalade from last month was an ancient older-than-time being, so this month's CS challenger is not as old as the previous one

Oh, those drops look amazing! Wish I could fight for them... they'd go great in my pet's garden TC! So far the only one I managed to defeat is Farmer Blake lol! The rest were just too high powered for my babies.

If you do battle quests you can most likely get the helmet without dropping sP. It's all a matter of building up to it. I will look into the steps and comment you that info. Modding is simple, you get the crystal (from battle or from quests), click it in your inventory and click modify weapon, which will take you to a list of your weapons/armory and you select which you want it on ! I put mine on my main battle weapons since I know I use them the most. This guide helps break down crystals, as well as a bunch of other stuff.
As for boosters, there's a board here. It breaks down a lot of info. If yo do Shinwa and Quentin quests you might have some laying around (Quentin gives mage amulets, which you turn into the mage to possibly get tomes). I had so many boosters layering around I got a pet up from nothing to tier 8 in a week, without spending any actual sP outside of buying some books (battle shop + specialty shops are another story).

Thanks for the info. I will have to save up for that hat thingy. i have not ever done weapons modifications (didn't know how). I am sure it's not hard to figure out though.
What is a booster? Is it like those cash shop items you buy to increase or decrease a pets stats? If so, that means a lot of CSC to boost even a little bit.

I don't mind the beefy challengers, but can we have more that are low level, stat wise? Always kind of a bummer to see yet another challenger I have no hopes of even touching.

((BTW - I'm not complaining, I just think my pet is strong enough (or should be) to be able to beat him if he did not freeze in the first move, multiple times in a battle in a row. My freeze weapons only worked 1/4 times for one turn as well.)) It is good to have challengers at varying levels of difficulty - it gives me something to work towards. :D

Well, this is lame. I can't beat him because he freezes my pet first move in and then kills said pet in two moves. The pet is tier 11 too! Well, I will have to wait til at least tier 15 to beat this one I guess. I have been tier 11 for so long though, even with daily training though. IDK how people manage to go up in tier so quickly.

We need Isolation Blake. The challenger can only use weapons that have a greater than 6 ft. reach.

As for the Cash Shop Challenger, I think it's an Aenoid, but I don't think they're that new? There don't seem to be any other pets that match the description in the loot though.
