There is a new (extremely easy) Trivia

Also, the trivia has been recoded, now you have to wait until its over to know if you had it correct or not.

This is to stop the people who feel the need to cheat and spread answers. :(

Oh Keith, that last one was so tough that even my daughter's math teachers in high school said it was unsolvable. But thanks for putting an easier (but MUCH too easy) one on there this time.

I think this is a good idea with the triva seeing as some people didn't try to figure it out themslves which made it unfair to those who actually found the answers. I didn't get the last one because my math skills are sadly lacking, and I think I might have worded the easy one wrong as well. :/
But still good idea on the new system Keith.

Because getting any Trivia answers or help from anyone who also plays on the site is cheating; that's always been clearly stated. It's a freezable offense.

I know NOTHING about calculus... but my calculutron (who does NOT play here) said the answer with a +C at the end too, so I put it and got it wrong as well. If the Spectrumbie does make a reappearance I hope that it's for an equally difficult or harder question as there are already 29, I think, and some of us calculus challenged individuals already paid a ton to get them. (In my case, actual cash; I traded Donation presents for mine).

I'm not pleased with this new system. Part of the fun of Trivias was figuring out the answers with friends and finding ones who knew the answer. I don't see how it was such a bad thing, finding out the answer from friends but I can't do [censored] all about it, now can I? >_<

Ah, ok. Thanks for explaining, Keith.
I like this new system too .

I like this Idea I remeber the last triva said 4 out of 101 and then a minute later 6 of 105 got it right. Although you can't prove it forsure there is like a 99% chance that those two people who answered so closely cheated. That cheating takes the fun away from those that worked it probably only half of those 29 actually did the work. Also proper form brings the answer back to the original variabl x and it adds a constant "c"

Yay! I've never even done calculus so I didn't have a clue about the previous one, and I wanted that Spectrumbie It was so

I am quite worried that I have worded the answer to this 'easy' one wrong. I am going to get really frustrated with this new system. Howver, i think it is a small price to pay for the cheating that was going on before.

Oh, I like this system alot better.
I get jealous when people IM me with the "That is the correct answer..." message all the time?

Everyone will get a notice telling them if they got it right or wrong.

The users who got it right will get teh item and SP then.

So, with the new way, will everyone get a message or something saying that they were correct or not? Or will it be just the ones who got it right that will get a message? Or will they only know if they suddenly find the prize in their inventory? Just wondering.

I don't like the new trivia but if this one helps not to cheat and spread answers then I'm fine with that...but really I hope the Spectrumbie will come back in a new trivia because that one was very hard because some people like me have never studyed that kind of calculation

I just wana point out that the answer to the previous trivia was incorrect, seeing that a indefinite integral with no limits requires the "+ C" at the end.

But of course, I should have set aside my concern and just follow the model answer. Just too bad. I got it wrong because I put in the + C
