Rotten Paladin Challengers!
This item will not retire from the Cash Shop.
After defeating Time Forgotten Armor 10 times, you receive an achievement with the same title. This achievement will give you the item Rusted Golden Brooch to unlock the next paladin stage, Reanimated Vengeance.
Defeat the Reanimated Vengeance 10 time and you'll receive the achievement of the same name. This will give you the item Corrupted Eye Brooch which will unlock the last stage of this terrifying paladin, Final Corruption.
Defeat the Final Corruption 10 times for a cool weapon!
Note: We've added the Rusted Golden Brooch and Corrupted Eye Brooch items as prizes also on 15 wins for the achievements so you can use one copy for unlocking the challenger and the other as a wearable! You can not sell these item summoners as they are non tradeable.

Hello! Does anyone have the stats for the Time Forgotten Armor challenger?
My strongest pets are not anywhere near defeating the last one (Rubovyne) but he/she is in my CS challengers tab and patiently waiting until my guys get there. :)
and then did I understand that the Golden Brooch will not retire? I hope so cuz the cost of those things can be daunting.

I have trained one pet only for 7 years. Cannot go any higher. Could someone write to me privately with advice on how to beat Final Corruption. I really want the weapon. I have beaten it 3 times. Might be able to do a bit more.

@Baronbaracuda Did you click on the Golden Brooch in your inventory and then click the option to ‘Unlock Challenger’? It will unlock the Time Forgotten Armor challenger, which will show up in the Cash Shop tab in the Battle Coliseum.

Pretty much, yes. Though you could get away with buying 2 and just move the second copy to your armory or wardrobe if needed. Hope that helps.

@Damon Thanks, I understand that. What I was asking is if you have to buy 3 to get the weapon, wearable and opponent. I don't normally spend CSC on opponents so just wondering.

The Golden Brooch now officially has stats! (And has custom coding when paired with the shield and sword drops!)

@Chocolate I hope the heal is adjusted and it makes me nervous about the revamp of similar higher tier weapons, including USS. The example used in the revamp post about percentage heals was "(i.e. 10% to 400)", so this seems in line with that, sadly.

I just wanted to try out the weapon first, before unlocking the challenger, to see if it was worth buying as a weapon.
If this sword ever gets statted, I am forced to buy another one, to test it and probably find out it's just wasted CSC.
I know that other people will test it then and share the info. And that I could have waited to unlock the challenger until the weapon has proper stats.

@BoaConstrictor You can get another copy of the summoner/weapon, though. It's not unfair because you can have more than one copy of that item. Non-tradeable items aren't available in pet treasures at the moment and as far as I'm aware, it's not on the list to change that to allow for pet treasures any time soon.

Everything else gets rereleased or becomes cheaper if not worthless. Including event Prizes - Thunderball and Tainted Keeper Skull Staff in my case.
I'm just sad, because I missed it by the wink of an eye; my pet wasn't quite strong enough and I didn't have access to the right weapons at the time.

Well yes but that also applies to god only knows how many limited custom wearables and event prizes on site that are pretty lol. This does appear to solve the demigod or god level ice block weapon problem though.
I think if the brooch gets good stats later the point would be to buy another one and use it permanently as a weapon.

I put the Brooch up for testing a tad, waiting to see custom coding, so I could decide whether to buy a second one as weapon. It really only did 1 physical!!!
It would be pretty unfair, if it only gets real stats later, when we don't have the weapon any longer for testing purposes, because we used it to unlock the challenger.

Since it unlocks 3 challengers (plus the wearables and weapons you can get from their loot), the price is not too bad if you consider it's like 250 CSC for each stage.
These challengers are so cool, can't wait to look at everything more when I get back home later!
