I like it, especially its shinyness, but its tail should be green.

Free that escalade from its shackles, the older one looks like it has markings on its feet while the new one has what looks like cuffs strapped around its feet. Second of all, the newest version has either gone blind or lost its eyes. That's all I have to say and I don't mean to seem like a stick in the mud.

Oh, one last thing. I do love, however, the shine and new colour of the armour. That was a really good move.

While I like the art, I don't think it fits the species. It lacks the majesty of the former creature, and doesn't fit my pet's personality much at all. I don't really like how it's missing it's back spine. I'm alright with a revamp, but not one that looks so... feminine, with the head of a ninja-turtle, no less.

It is good - I agree with silver that my first thought about the face was "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle" but that doesn't mean it isn't really nice on the revamp, which it is. I can't wait to see it in newer colors as the style is better suited to subeta's color options - there can be more flexibilty with making parts of it's body different colors (ex. some arid pets have plum colored parts like eyes, feet or something else). Nice job and good courage on the artists part on all revamps for manifesting change no matter who likes it or not!

Hmm. My two cents. I never really liked or like Escalades. I really like the hair andhow it flows witht he contours of the body, as oposed to simply stickingout. I don't like the feet, but hey, I didn't like the feet of the old version eigher-I just don't do elephantish feet. As for the head, I have to agree withthe others, I feel it's a bit small (or maybe it just an illusion), but it instantly reminds me TMNT. Eventhe color and the eyes.
<br>I do love the shine on the helmet/armour thing on its head though, espeecially on the leg guards it uses. I think it's a bit better than the old version, definitely. The legs are in synch, it's more anatomically correct too.

It's a curious revamp, and I think it's been due for a while from responses of the other people here, but I personally enjoy the old version more. I just can't get past the feeling that people are only liking it 'cause it's more shiny or something. Just my $.02.

I used to hate escalades. The style of art on it was NOT subeta... The mouth was weird. The pose was strange and the tails were stuck up.

Yes, the horns are confusing... are they ears? They really look like it. And it does look kinda like a Ninja turtle with that smile, i agree it should be a smirk. A smirk would make it look more... mischevious. But other than that, I like it. The tails are cute.

Bah, this must have popped up right after I got off to go to sleep. Anyhow, couple things to say. *collective groan from the audience*

<br>When I first saw it even before I read the other comments I thought, "wow the head is kind of small in comparison to the body, and... its a ninja turtle? Well, apparently I'm not the only one who thinks it. WIth its head facing as it is, makng its big snoggin so apparent, putting that grin on there just makes it instant TMNT. Perhaps trying turning the head a bit more and making the grin less'big' for lack of a better word, maybe more smirk-like.

<br>The horns. I was always of the opinions the the helmet/head plate was a guard for it, and sort of for show as well, like a Samurai's demon mask. There were the three forward facing spikes (cheeks and forhead) and two back facing spikes, one on each side of the head. They'd been placed where the ears would have been on the old Escalade, and I'd pictured those as guards over the ears. This new spike configuration looks sort of like the spikes should be lined up one behind the other on the center of the back of the head.... So, does the Escalded have ears or not? I would hope it does, or we're going back to the whole Ninja Turtle thing again.... I would also like to see the forehead horn pointing forward again, instead of curling up and back, as now it looks like they melted a Mortiking Egg onto the helmet.

<br>The Legs. Oh, I like how you've done the lag bands and positioned the legs. The hind legs expecially, no longer look like disjointed feet sort of... hanging there. And the shini-ness of the new metal bands is so spiffy. Yay, it looks really metalic now. And I don't mind the pose of the legs at all. Reminds me of the point a Setter goes into when it spots game. Well, in a slightly more relaxed form of "Yeah, its over there, so?" anyhow. Of course, I also think Setter due to the rather large amounts of foofy fur, which I adore, since I like Setters. And perhaps when the eventual redraw goes through, if I like it and the Sun is pretty red, I'll figure out how to get one and name it after my Irish Setter xD

I love the sheer motion of the redraw, and I do like both styles. It's my son's pet, though. We always fought over it, since I'm the only one who took care of it...heehee...if this redraw goes through, I won't mind caring for Cascade so much. ^^

tategami I'm not forsure what to suggest I would have to think about it for a while. I know the work you do is hard. If you could let us see the some of the other poses you were considering if you have any drawings you decided against. Also the more I look at the new one the more it does grow on me.

Objectivly, I can agree that the new one is better. I can certinly understand why people like it so much. I just can't personaly get past my "Ack! A ninja-turtle in a green fur coat!" reaction.

On the whole, I like it far better. The art needed an update badly, and this looks great.

I changed my mind I voted old I like the art a whole lot but the pose needs changed. I think if the pose was just changed slightly it would be 100 times better and would become the next pet I would adopt.

I like it but I dont know what to vote for. I think it looks kinda silly in a lot of ways his face looks just like a ninja turtle and he is holding up his leg in a posing dog in a dog show. I think I will go with new but I would like to see it more agressive. Its like the torent lost it's cuteness and went to mystic and the escalade went from mystic to cute.

Wow, I wasn't expecting this! And it really is beautiful - I agree with all the hairy turtle comments, but to me it's more a charm point than anything. XD It does look a little... showdoggy and prissy for my tastes, but that's a personal thing (like Noir, I like a wilder look). Only other quibble I have is that the tails look awkward somehow, like they're plastered against the body instead of smoothly swishing around. But those are minor complaints - overall it's a great improvement. In truth, I was torn, despite that I've never had an escalade myself, I've been fond of them. Of course, there were never any elixirs so those who do own one of a different color really had to be lucky on the zapper more than anything else.

Im sad to see the top spike on its head that spiked forward gone, but, I guess its livable.

Ugh; people always vote on the new ones.. it makes people genuinely believe that the old ones were genuinely bad - i'd like to point out a trend - if you guys havent already noticed; the old designs of pets were, in general, on the masculine side - while the new ones, in general, are more on the iffeminate side - if theres a vote on every one of these the iffeminate one always seems to come out on top - so why cant subeta have masculinely drawn pets?

I love this escalade, but certian parts of it turn me off.... as a couple people said already i too wish the helmet was a bit more fierce. Also the tails still bug me.... the position of them seem uncomfortable and plastered to the side... plus i loved the tube tails (but thats a personal preference.. xD ) though i have to say the shading and art is gorgious. And the legs are my favorite part of it all.

A lovely redraw, in my opinion. The fur looks so soft, I almost wish it were real, so I could pet it. xD The only thing that confuses me are the tails. There's just something off about them that I can't put my finger on.
