I like the new better than the old - but the tip of the tail the way it 'hangs' looks like the tail tip got caught in a door and is broken. I agree with the ears looking 'like mouse ears' -- too big. The top part of the front leg that is behind the chest of hair looks like it is sticking out a bit abnormally compared to the other leg; maybe making the chest less fluffy would enable that bump on the top of the leg to be trimmed straighter. The nose seems very very wide, like a boomerang. I voted new with hopes of tweaking (I do not have a 'regular' tigrean, but am in love with my reborn tigrean and feel that the reborn smaller ears are more appropriate... please do not change the reborn version, it is truly awesome as is!) <img src=http://www.subetax.org/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif border=0>

At the risk of sounding redundant, the things that stick out the most to me as being off are the ears and the eyebrows. As have been mentioned, the ears look like cartoon mouse ears because of how thin they are, and how far they jut out from the head. The ears of the old Tigrean were perfect, in my opinion; carrying them (their design, I mean) over to the new version would be the best way to go. :3 Now, as for the brows... they're REALLY thick and chunky, which gives the face a very "caveman"-like feel. Moving the eyebrows themselves down and getting rid of that big "bump" would probably fix that.

all points i might have against this one where stated already... some even more constructive as i ever could.<br />all i can say is that i hope that Eckles does not change into such a sweet-tooth cuttie-cat as this one is... hopefully at least the (i fear upcomming) GY revamp manages to hold on his pride hunter look...<br />if i didn't own one of theese i think i could have like this revamp, the art is just stunning and georgous... but that playfull pose and overall expression is just against all Dr. Eckles ever meant to me. <img src=http://www.subetax.org/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif border=0>

For the most part I like it, but it just seems a bit 'busy'. Perhaps less curls would help.
The toes on the left foreleg make it look as though it is not fully on the ground - yet the line of the leg and the shoulder seem to suggest it is indeed putting weight on it. To me, anyway.
If this did go through as is, I'd still be happy with it. Good job.

My only qualm is the marking under the eye-- it looks sort of old, with bags under its eyes, y'know? But I also agree that the ears are a bit too rounded~ Elsewise, great job! ^.^

If anything ever needed a revamp, it was the Tigrean. XD<p>
Now, it seems to me like the white part of the belly goes a bit too far up.. especially near the foreleg that is closest to the viewer. It makes it look like the torso is rotated in a funny way. Which also makes the far shoulder stick out a bit awkwardly. But other than that, it's a 4000% improvement. thank GOODNESS it's getting a revamp. I like it very much so far, expression especially. However, as some people said before, I think it;d be nice if he were a bit.. longer, sleek and elegant, like cats are. He's kind of standing there like a horse. o.o

So pretty! I love the stripes, and the shading is just gorgeous. For some reason, the placement of the tip of the tail bothers me, but the rest I love. I'm glad the smirk is still there.

there's something too harsh about the face of this revamp that I just don't like and the big.... Chest curls aren't particularly pleasing to me either. I like the shading, and the overall style of the revamp, though.

Big cats are known for having long bodies and aren't as short and stocky as Subeta seems to make their pets. You have room for a bit of elongation there but it's not THAT big of a deal...<br />
Its hind quarters seem a little higher than its shoulders and as for its paws... Well not only is the forepaw closest to us (the viewer) slightly off (angle wise) but I think it would be best if it had four toes. You know, like normal animals? XD Three toes just looks... freaky. It was one of the first things I noticed and disliked so... If nothing else, maybe you could take more attention away from that if they were fitted with claws?<br />
I also agree with Aicona* about the head. Why are they always turning to face us? It's not necessary. XD Also I note, big cats (like Tigers) can't really turn their heads like that nor do they have heads that highly mounted. We had this problem with the Telenine, remember? XD; It's not a horse so it's head should be that high up on it's shoulders... I really like the stalking pose of the Hydrus version. Despite its flaws, it actually looks like what a big cat should look like when it comes to level of the head, the length of the body and overall look.<br />
Now about it's expression... No offense (and I mean that because I'm not trying to be) but it looks more constipated than fearsome/intimidating and it's also lost that evil, vicious, predatory expression as well. I think the angle of the head, the high eyebrows and the lack of a smirk is what's mostly to blame.<br />
The final flaws I believe are the ears and the fur on the chest. First the ears... I have to agree with everyone. While they are the right shape, they're too much like Jerry's (from Tom and Jerry) ears... Too high and way too big. -- The tuff of fur on the chest... is a little much or at least too defined. If it was toned down or maybe less defined without black outlining?

The shading, while a bit busy is amazingly done.<br />
The pose (aside from the head) is pretty well done. I like how the tail curls under.<br />

Agh. Well no offense to any of the artists, but I am not happy with this revamp. Not like It matters that I post this, but I feel like doing so anyways. The pose is so dynamic. All the coloring and shading is great like all the revamps, but this looks so boring, and it drastically changes (in my opinion) the Tigrean. I don't get the "mouse-y" ears, or why they have to have 3 paws now. I think the 3 paws makes it...creepy. I use to love the tigrean, and by the looks of it, this tigrean will win. just like any other of the revamps. x.x; Well hopefully the chibi tigrean wont be changed. He was changed once and I didn't like it, changing it again wouldn't make me happy. but again, subeta only cares about the majority of money spending players. I think its GORGEOUS! I do wish the head were a bit bigger, as tigers (in the real world <img src=http://www.subetax.org/images/smilies/6398_emoticon_raspberry.gif border=0>) tend to have large, full heads. BUT, that said I think it is spectacular! I love the locks of hair, I love the detail, gorgeous!

I was thinking last night: 'I would so get a tigrean if they looked more like their plushie counterparts' as I got one out of a claw machine, and so then to wake up to this poll today, well, awesome. this version looks amazing! much more realistic and edgy, yet adorable at the same time. Overall I find this to be a good revamp of this particular Pet but I find a few things seem a little out of place. I must say that a few of these changes have been mentioned by other users. I must say that I love the stripe patterning it looks more natural so to speak.
The main thing that I see being an oddity for Tigrean is the ear shape, it is almost to rodent like in appearance instead of having that classic big cat shape in its original incarnation. I think the at the high curl of hair for the chest almost makes the chest look too shallow and I find the stance to unfitting for this particular pet, the tails under lap of the body and the positioning of the head reminds me too much of the posing for the revamp of the Escalade and the Terracoon.
I must say though that I love the face, and the facial expression that the Revamp has. Especially the eyes.

I would love this a lot more if the head was blown up and the ears shrunk.
My only other comment is that it seems to have gotten much younger looking than the original. And it seems to have been squeezed into the canvas- it doesn't look very comfortable standing that way.

I voted for the revamp, this is a big improvement --- but I echo what people are saying about the ears (shape and size) and the chest fur (way too much) and not sure if it was mentioned at all -- maybe darken the nose a bit? Other than that though --- fabulous!

The Art is a large improvement in both shading and anatomy, my only Grief comes from how the Tigrean seems to have lost his Devious Look :c Otherwise its wonderful, I just hope the Reborn Tigrean still looks Dark and Brooding

The shading on this new one looks much better, and those stripes are absolutely gorgeous but... I'm gonna have to vote for the old one. Why? Well, I'm not too fond of that overly fluffy chest fur or the big, round, cutesy ears. The other big thing that makes me really prefer the old one was the very powerful pose, almost as if it was stalking something. If this new version had a more dramatic pose, I'm sure I'd love it much more.
(Also this is all coming from someone who has never owned a Tigrean and has no personal attachment to the old design. Just thought I'd add that. xD)

The only thing I dislike about it is the placement of the stripes - they interfere with the shading a bit too much, I think, and make it seem like the light sources are bouncing all over. Other than that, this is quite lovely

I love, I love, I love....Personally, I don't think you should change ANYTHING except the wierd lock of hair on its head. It's like it used to have a full head of hair, then decided to look like a hardcore tuff-guy posing tiger biker and shave it all off except that one tuft. But you take that away, then it's perfect.
This one--to me--looks more primal, more savage, more cunning, more calculating, more...EVERYTHING. It's Tigrean to the power of 5! I love everything about this revamp. I once had a tigrean but got rid of it due to how bored I got of it. I like this one. The fur and the markings look awesome. Really great art. But I liked the pose of the old one, it actually looked like a stalking, hunting, prowling big cat. (I just really didn't like the face and eyes.) I guess, what bothers me about the new one a little bit is that it looks too cute/evil, like the kitty that got the cream or something, where the old one had a dangerous feel to it. Awesome revamp. It keeps the attitude of the old Tigrean so well. My only gripe and suggestion for tweaking is the tail looks awkward swinging in between the legs/behind the foreleg like that. It might look better swung out a little more, or layered over the foreleg. Otherwise, looking forward to seeing it on the site!

I love it!!! My battle pet is a Tigrean and I'm thrilled by the idea of him turning into one of these! I did like the old Tigrean but I always thought it was a bit too derivative of the anime style of art. This new one is much more original looking. I wouldn't change a thing about it. I hope we'll get to see some new colors along with this revamp. Like Angelic, Spectrum, Galactic or Nuclear.

I seems a bit busy to me, moreso than the latest revamps. And I don't see a problem with the expression. It's the same expression, just more defined. Although, I do like this one. I like it a lot.

I have say, this is one of the only pet revamps that i haven't liked owo; I mean, don't get me wrong; the art is gorgeous. But something about it is just..off. i think it may be the eyes. they seem very angular and square. which, i admit, worked for the old one..but it just doesn't flow with the revamp. also, i agree with orientalmoons. it seems a bit..overshaded. sometimes, simplicity is the right way to go Dx; i know people are probably going eat me alive with 'OMG WHUT U TALKIN ABOUT I LUV IT GO DIE!!1' but i figured i'd state my opinion anyways u______u;

It looks really cool, but still I wouldn't want my reborn tigrean to change it's unique and cool pose. Hope the reborn pose for the tigrean will remain the same though. The shading looks off. It makes it looks dirty. The ear hairs look too thick. The chest hair could be toned down too. I like dhte eyes and head shape though.

Overall I like this new one. the stripes and shading are amazing. The only things that look odd to me about it are:
the much mentioned near front leg, its a tad thick;
and the hair tuft on the head, it just doesn't seem to go with the Tigrean;
and the chest curls seem a bit busy.

I have to agree with Lypsyl about the tail, the positioning of it is a bit odd. Other than that I really like the revamp.

I knew that Lilac Tigrean Elixir I kept would come in handy. I certainly hope this revamp goes through because because if it does I'll have to change one of my pets.x3

I really like the new colouring, the 3 dimensional depth, better detail on the face. I like a lot of the aspects of the new one, in general it looks quite good.
The areas I have problems with are the ears are too big and too rounded. While I like the look of the tail, I'm not so thrilled with the positioning. I would prefer to see it positioned more like the original. The last point is the facial expression, I find it too coy, as a cat the expression should be cunning, haughty or disdainful.

Burzum, large cats do have big paws. XD; I think those look rather nice on the Tigrean. It looks like it actually has toes now!

I like this one WAY better, just the front leg looks kind of fat and chunky :S

I don't prefer this to the old one. The art quality is better, but there are aspects of the new one I don't like at all. The fluffiness of the fur on the chest- it feels too extreme, same with the end of the tail. The expression, too- the old one had a determined expression which was distinctive and different from most pet images. The new one just looks generically evil.
The fur on the edges of the head looks a bit too pointy, and the ears seem too high and set out from the head in comparison to the old one. And lastly, it feels over shaded- the old one is certainly under shaded but this feels like an over correction.
I do think the quality of the art is a lot better, though, don't get me wrong. And the amber eyes look lovely.

But, there are a few tiiiiny things which could be tweaked a little bit. Nothing too large or extreme.

The nose looks a little bit off to me. Maybe it's because of the accented shading of the muzzle? The nose looks a bit too turned off toward the right side.

The far cheekbone could be, but doesn't have to be a tiny bit smaller. It looks good, either way.

The toes. All large predatory felines have four toes. It's not exactly a very needed change as this Tigrean looks stunning even with three toes.

The far ear, maybe it would be possible if it connected to the head a bit more? It gives a slightly flat impression like this, not really the image you'd get if you looked at a tiger or lion ear from that angle. Maybe something along the ear of the Chibi Tigrean might be a good improvement?

The brow marking does, indeed, seem a little bit too thin compared to the actual brow. And, there could be a tiny tweak of the shading on the front, visible leg. Y'know there, near the elbow? Wow. Okay. While the art is a vast improvement, there is something about the pose that just seems off. It kind of looks like its butt is up in the air. I know it's supposed to be angled, but... it didn't work too well. xD And why are there so many highlights in the coloring? It looks shiny. x.x

Old all the way. This one has too many shading issues and fluff, making it look... odd. Like it stands out among all of the other pets. Nice anatomy, clean and all, but why not try a more dynamic pose? At least the old Tigrean has a pose that screams 'powerful'.

As a whole I adore the new one. The one thing that really bugs me though is that tje cpmbination of the size of the brow ridge and the markings on the forehead, it makes the head look a bit lumpy and deformed. Woah, MASSIVE improvement there! The nose seems to be crooked a bit, which is probably why the face looks off. I also think the front leg should get a teeny bit narrower as it goes down to the paw, since it seems really odd for it to just be one big thick chunk of leg. But otherwise, it looks really awesome.
