We are testing out a new Ticket System, for answering user problems :D Instead of heading to the help page and sMailing a user admin, you'll now fill out a ticket and get help from someone online :)
There are categories for just about anything, when you try to create a ticket, so just choose one and try to be as clear as possible.
This should help cut down on the work of the UAs (Since a lot of people sMail every single one, and when they try to help they realize that someone else is helping) and it helps keep everything in one area. If a UA is having trouble, they can simply transfer the entire ticket to another UA (or a higher staff member, myself included) to help the user out.
This is not a place to report bugs, this is still where you do that. :D

I just wanna say the ticket system worked beautifully, at least on the user end! I submitted it and it was taken care of asap.
And theres a comment section after you submitted your ticket! I had no idea you could do that, made getting updates and communicating much easier.

I remember having a problem a while back and smailing ONE UA and being helped a few hours later, so I can't complain about the UAs' help :')
There is one thing I don't understand: with this system users will also be able to help out other users...? O_o

Hmn..... I don't think this is a good idea. It reminds me of the system wajas have, and it takes forever for a mod to solve things. One time, it took me four months AND to have the same problem occur again to get an automated message from the mods there. x;<br />I don't think this is a good idea.

LadyTogemon theres lots of things that qualify as a bug and also as something you should not post in the bug forum (glitches and dangerous things that shouldnt be shared) or help regarding things that arent bugs but are account specific and so forth :3

This also fixes the issue of not knowing who smail about your problem. I'm very careful when it comes to reporting issues and I spent a whole day trying to figure out who to smail...

I think another good part about this will hopefully be a reduction in complaints about favoritism. You get the UA that the ticket gives you, and that's a GOOD thing.

I hope this works well for everyone - nice idea! I just dont get people - why smail EVERY UA? That just wastes their time AND yours. I had no idea. Patience is a virtue, folks. Glad ya'll came up with a way to cut that out.

Great idea! When I've had to get help I've gone to each one's profile to see if they're around. This way you just fill it out and know you'll get the help you need by whomever.
The only drawback I can see is a lot of people have their favorites and would like to stay with that one person. Other than that, this should work out really well for everyone.

The kink of showing up at the top of the page is now fixed I assume? Outside of that I liked the idea and hope that it works as well as we are thinking they will. Perhaps now people will have to find another excuse aside from the UA playing favorites/picking on me one.

I'm sure you can still mail a UA (after all people are friends with them) but they'll probably just direct you to the ticket thing if you mail them with an issue.

KamikazeKiel - What if someone reports a user and that user tries to pick up the ticket? Probably not a good idea in the long run. People can still help each other via the help forum. This is for official stuff that needs UA attention.

Why not make it so that other users can also help with the tickets?
That way, it'll cut down even more of the questions that are asked to the UA's...if that makes sense.

No Seerow, this is where you will submit your problems that you would normally bring to a UA. A UA will take care of it and then close the ticket. This way you dont have to play roulette, trying to find a UA who's online and can take care of your problem. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_smile.gif" border="0" />

Seerow - this will be the <strong>required</strong> method of getting help from a UA from this point forward, which is why I think it'll be used.
All staff are notified when there is a new ticket, so it should be answered pretty quickly. (And that resolves the sending one to every staff member you think is online problem)
