everybodys freakin out about walmart it just says stores LIKE walmart gosh people

I would probably buy these if we could get them in Canadian stores. I don't buy stuff online at all, so this would be a way for me to support the site and get the awesome items from MCTs a lot more often.
0

zlombie

Good idea,
but I feel as though subeta is not big enough to do this

I would love to have cards in stores, mainly Target , since I don't have a credit card or paypal.

Loving the "don't let this be neopets 3.0" arguments.

Hah! Are you joking?

CSC already gives users a HUGE advantage on the site vs Neopets. At least they don't allow anyone to profit and just buy their way into stardom.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely approve of subeta's method! It's great, and it's working. But honestly? Are you kidding me? Subeta ALREADY IS turning out to give paying users huge advantages. The most prized items are always CSC (among the most popular, MCT and wigs...) and they are worth millions.

It just seems like it's the new edgy thing to be bashing the site you were all referred here from. gtfo.

Pudding Cup, i not getting into a big debate over Walmart on here since thats not what this news area is for...i was just saying we shouldn't put it down...but let me just end with this note is that when people work for retail is that wages and work hours you always getting the raw end of the stick...if people want fairer jobs then they can get a college degree and a career outside of retail...i have family in retail work and i know how it is like to work there...it not just walmart either...and i sorry bout your family's store being hurt by walmart or any store like that being in town...they just have to fight back...its how businesses survive...blessed be

Brianna

I think it's a good idea but I wouldn't be able to buy them myself as I don't live in The States or anywhere near there.
0

Bipolarbear

My PayPal account never seems to act right, so having Subeta gift cards in WalMart / Target otr, better yet, GameStop would be a Godsend. I'd buy a lot more CSC if this came into play.
0

sam4slb

I love this idea but I hope that they will get sold in australia. A good australian shop would be either Big W, Kmart ot Target. I like Big W most
0

Amae

Yes, please. I vote Target too though. Gamestop would be even better.

You know I had an interesting thought. If cards were sold out in very public popular stores, people might start learning about Subeta. I mean, most people learn of it through word of mouth I think. This way it'll get peoples attention

Whether we want that or not is really debatable. I think that's what happened to a certain other website. :/

I have already read the facts. thanks.

Your entitled to your opinion just dont assume every cares that you think walmart is a bad place. They are not the only store like that, its a big cooperation they get a lot of buzz cause of that than smaller places. I know you werent talking to me but wanted to state what I thought too. Walmart is an excellent place to shop and if someone doesnt like to work there then dont work there. One of these days someone will get walmart to step up to the plate and pay their employees more but until someone does I will still shop there. I have a walmart right next to me a target down the road and if I want a subeta card that bad I will take a trip where ever else to get one. So I don't really care where the cards go in whatever store I will still go get it if its here in the USA up north. I think the poll really says it all though I didnt that many people did the poll the numbers are wow! haha

I wasn't assuming everyone cares, but i know people do - especially my parents. Just because mine is the minority thought does not make it unimportant. Most stores do not have the power that Walmart has, so i doubt many smaller places are like that. And it's not just the employees that are getting jipped. Here. Read the facts.

btw corportation*.

Jennie: I'm not saying I think it's a terrible idea to have the cards. I'd like that idea...but in other stores. I just hate Walmart. Do you KNOW what they do? They may bring jobs and lower prices, but they destroy mom and pop stores (like what my parents have), are incredibly greedy, and the employees are very poorly paid. It's not the same as Target and other discount stores. It's not like I'm bashing EVERY store who has low prices. Like someone said before, google "Wake up, Walmart".

Since when have i not been able to have an opinion? :/
0

omg_eLLen

Just today, I saw cards for Gaia and other sites which I used to be active in, and I was wishing they had had them back when I was active, because it would've opened more options to me.
So I would definitely support Subeta cash cards. (:
0

butterfly1975

That is a 100% yes from me!!! I would buy them all the time.
0

bluelightning

Only if they are sold in the UK, though I doubt they'd be very popular here :/
0

BurntFeathers

Heck yes I'd buy one, possibly once a month. As a users without paypal/credit card it sucks that I can't help donate to my favorite website to show how much I appreciate all their hard work.
0

Doglet

I think it's an unrealistic idea. Subeta does not have a big enough userbase.
0

sivvy

I'm sure its a great idea for those with access to the stores. But where I am we don't even have foreign subsidiaries of American chains. And even if we did they wouldn't want to sell something in american dollars.
0

BlocksBlocksBlocks

I voted no because I wouldn't buy them in stores, though I do think they're a great idea -- particularly for users without their own credit cards. But my concern is the exchange rate for non-US users like myself.

With PayPal, the rate is current and exact. How could the physical cards be that precise? Would they just be for sale in US dollars? That doesn't seem likely.

Usually with things I buy from US suppliers, if the exchange rate isn't determined the PayPal way, I get a little bit screwed because they set the Canadian price according to each item.

Like on Sephora.com, for example, if I have a $15 lip gloss and a $30 mascara in my cart, when I check out and see the Canadian prices, the gloss might be $17 and the mascara, $38. There are discrepancies.

How would this issue be handled?
0

Opalite

It would make the temptation even greater....don't do it to me Keith lol
0

Chook_865

It's a good idea as long the paypal option remains for those who prefer it.
Have 3 concerns though.
1. Subeta users who do not have access to Walmart or whatever.
2. Are there enough users on Subeta to make it viable.
3. I would not like to see Subeta becoming too much like another pet site that has offers available only to people who redeem cards. This is my biggest concern.
0

Burro

I think it's a very good idea, even though I don't think I'd ever use it. Buying things in real life vs over the internet is always a good thing. ^^

I personally am much more comfortable spending cash in real life than making an online transaction. This is a great idea
0

Nej

I love this idea, but I'd rather see them in stores like CVS, Rite-Aid, Meijer, and K-mart.
0

User not found:

people stop putting down walmart...'cause if you put down walmart then you have to put down target and every other discount store...they are retail stores who come into towns and cities that lower prices which is good for customers and plus they bring jobs for people who need them...so remember that next time you put it down...it's just like a site needs money to keep it running...they do what they have to...sorry but had to be said...its simple business stuff...blessed be
0

User not found:

bring them to walmart and CVS pharmacies please...and have them in increments of $10, $15, $20, and such...those who only want to spend like $5 for cash credits then can still use paypals...i just would feel safer buying a $10 Subeta cash credit card then redeem it on this site then keep going to paypal all the time...not everyone has an account on paypal nor do they want to have their financial information on there all the time...no offense of course to paypal since i think they are trusted site...it just buying cards at a store to redeem for cash credits on game sites are just easier way to donate...if you not have the $10 increment especially in Walmart stores then you will lose out on alot of customers (just a little business sense there)...other game sites start with increment of $25 on Walmart card shelf area and personally people get turned off by those increments...i mostly go to Walmart and CVS stores often so those would be the best places i want to see Subeta cash cards at...upstate NY please ~bats lashes and winks~
0

bruja

I hate Wal-Mart because they destroy towns. It's terrible.
0

Cuetipie

I think this would be awesome! I know my kids and their friends buy them for a different site and give them as b-day gifts... Plus I could replace itunes cards for the kids with them! I know I would buy them at one or more of my 4-5 trips a week to walmart
0

fjorab

It's a good idea, but I had to be honest. I'd prefer to buy directly from Subeta through Paypal (or other viable means). I also think it might be easier and more efficient not to do it through cards. The main benefit for buyers would be something physical to hold to show for it I guess. My "no" vote doesn't mean "no" to spending money for the site.
0

AshleyAnn

hahah yea I love walmart too
0

Doomy

I'd love for this to happen! It be a lot easier for those who can't but stuff off here, and I love Wal-Mart XD
0

toilet

i would love that,
then i can give to subeta that way because i cant use paypal
0

Mandy

Ah I hope this happens, I would definitely buy them...if they are in Australian stores anyway
0

Cream

One issue I have is that wal-mart is pretty far from where I live but if they were in a k-mart i would be there in a flash as there is one down the street
0

Moonlight

I have to add real quick I can't wait to see cards in stores but you mention Walmart. I won't set foot in walmart. Hopefully you can get them in Target lol! If not I can always stick with paypal I suppose. I'd rather buy cards though Would be fun!
0

Alchemy

I would love for them to be available and I would buy them all the time. I can't use Paypal, so this is an excellent alternative.
0

Velluria

Great idea! Put them in Walmart, K-Mart, Target, Walgreens, everywhere. ^^ But I'c for sure get them if they were at Target.
0

Mystykal_IceMyst

I preferr using paypal, I hope that option is not going to go away. I can see using cash cards as another option for users who can not use or prefer not to use a credit card
0

midnighter

This is a great alternative for those who don't have credit cards.
0

Marcus

I'd use it--it would be easier for me to use the Cash Shop.
0

Cobaltbluetoo

Cash cards are a fabulous idea, but I don't think Wal-Mart or Target would be the best place to sell them. Too few and far apart. Every neighbourhood has a pharmacy and that would be so much easier for the younger users to buy them. Another site sells their cards at Shoppers Drug Mart in Canada. With so many pharmacy chains I'm sure you could find one to carry your cards. Just a thought.
V.
0

Allegria

Not if it were in Walmart. I refuse to shop there. But put them into a non-evil store? Sure.
0

horcrux

I would totally buy one - there are Targets and Wal Marts all over the place around here.
I can't use paypal and don't have a credit card (too young) so this would be awesome for me.
0

Scar

I love love love this idea. :3 Then I could actually buy from the CS, since I am not allowed to use my mom's credit card. xD
0

Aerrow

Ohmigoodness, please PLEASE go through with this. xD
I would probably waste my entire college fund. xD
0

Serenade

Is Subeta big enough for them to sell well, though?

Good idea. XD
0

West_646

This is a great idea I can't really use paypal, so this'd be a fabulous alternative. I'm probably in a bit of a minority here, but I'd love it if they reached Australia, in Target (I don't think Walmart exists here..)

Exactly. That, right there.
Except father, not hubby.
0

Clea2003

I'm happy using Paypal at the moment but maybe in the future if there was a British version.
0

Bastit

Only if the cards don't replace the Paypal system.
I mean, if we can use boths systems to buy stuff, it would be great for those who can't use Paypal.
0

soren

I believe this is a great idea. We'd be able to reach out to other people this way, and it would be much easier for some of us (like myself) to support the site. :3 I've been wanting to buy stuff in the cash shop for ages, but unfortunately I don't have a Paypal account or anything of the sort. That, and my parents give me strange looks whenever I go "Yay Subeta!". xD;
0

JrTinapay

i think its such a great idea since it will reach out to more users and attract potential ones as well. It will give users more options in how they choose to support the site.
0

zazzie

I hope it could get to walmarts in BC
I'll be sad if it only goes to far!
But great idea!!!
0

Koharu

OH GAWD YES!!!!!0o0 I WOULD SO BUY THEM!!!!>W<
0

Hyogail

things like this would probably never come to England (BAH! ) but I think it is a GREAT idea. BUT BUT I would really love it if you could post money/cheques to buy cash shop credits as well.
0

ChocoMin

If there is Cash Cards, I don't need to worry about hackers hacking credit cards!
0

Merry

Like a lot of other people have said, I hope "stores like Walmart" would mean more than just the one.

Great idea though!
0

NozzALa

I second the movement to have the cards in Gamestop and places like that. I can't use Paypal, but I'd definitely buy some Cash Shop stuff if we could get the cards in stores. That would be so awesome.
0

Lovely

I like this idea for holidays like Christmas. I can ask the BF to get me one. lol.
0

dithoricki

I like the idea but I'm sure that it will never be something that comes where I live so this is probably something that I can never get to be a part of if it happens.
0

DoomQueen

This would be so totally awesome! My parents wouldn't give me that "you're wasting your money" look every time I ask to borrow their credit card.
0

Penguinhoarder

I would love cash cards I don't want to use paypal and stuff.
Soooo yeah c:

Also, maybe stores like Gamestop would be good places to sell them.
0

Prose

This would be awesome. I never know what to tell my friends to get me for my birthday, so this would be a great thing for me.

But like others have said, go Target, not Walmart. =3
0

Nebulae

Well as long as this doesn't lead to the site being like neopets I'm all for it.
0

Saturnine

Imagine how many Gold Medals there would be...wouldn't be so inflated!

But I'd rather give my money to Subeta through Target than through Walmart, please xD
0

0

Schattenlied

That whould be superb, but seeing as I live in germany (where walmart doesn't even existed), I whould buy one, but obviously can't.
0

HypnoticPoison

I would love another option for getting Cash Shop credits since i don't have a credit card and can't use paypal. Although, like many other people here, i'm not very fond of Walmart (haven't set foot in that store in over 4 years) but i'm sure i could make an exception every now and again.
0

fotfoh

The only reason I say about Walmart or Target is I have one walmart close that doesnt carry any types of cards for online games.. they are just too small .. and the closest Targets and Walmarts to me after that are an hour away driving on the highway AND they dont have them either.. well target has gaia but thats it .. the online thing for each store says they carry them but when you go there and ask noone knows what you are talking about
0

DraftGiraffe

just as long as the site doesn't turn into neopets i'm good
0

Blaziken

This Is A Wonderful Idea, And I Hope You Will Be Able To Get Them Into Other Major Countries Other Than The US, Such As Britain

0

gangsta

This is a GREAT idea. Not only would it make CSC available to the users who are unable to use PayPal, it would allow the site to get more revenue.

To the users bugging out about not having a Walmart in their area, they need to read more closely. There are foreign equivalents to Walmart, so don't worry.

I highly doubt that their would be 'redeemable codes' on the cards for special prizes since the staff know and understand that not EVERY area will be able to carry these cards.
0

Impure

yeah i'd use fewif i had in romania. >.> just as long as it wont become too commercial and the good stuff to be able to get only like this.. its more than enough that some potions and cash shop items are f****** expensive or available at certain times....you know what i mean. i already used real $$ for virtual items on other sites (NOT neopets)
0

Nightwic

Hell the only reason i said i prefer Target is it is closer. I dont care if you sell them at the gass station or quicky mart if i can get to them ill buy it would be so much easer for me than paypal
0

zazzie

PLEASE OH PLEASE DO THIS.
Thats a great idea, and thats
the only reason why I dont
buy CSC!
0

Typhoon

omfg YESSSSSS.
The only reason I DON'T buy stuff like csc is because I can't use paypal or order things online on my own.
0

Midnight_916

Only downside is I'm going to be fucking broke 24/7 In the UK (I don't know if they do this in other countries) they pay you to stay in school once you reach 16... I'll be getting £20 a week Hello CSC
0

Midnight_916

OMG OMG OMG OMG

Walmart is a partner company for Asda (UK) PLEASEEEE try your best to strike a deal with them and I will shower you with e-hugs FOREVER
0

AshleyAnn

When I suggested a gift I meant for all the people who buy cards and paypal who support subeta with money. I am sure Keith is going to keep paypal along with cards if it happens
0

fotfoh

ps thats another reason I hate Neopets is bc they have cash cards but you cant get them everywhere in the usa let alone in other countries.. and they give out bonuses to card users and it makes it unfair to the paypal users .. so I say if you want to give a bonus or free gift, give it to all, not just one group of users when its not avail to all to get.
0

fotfoh

I love paypal bc its so convenient but I wouldnt mind a card either. The only downside to a card is that in rural areas (like where I live) it would be very hard to get them so I hope if you do go the card route that you also leave the paypal option.
0

Keith

And then google "paypal sucks" . No matter where you shop / put your money, there is going to be problems with the company behind it.

Regardless, for those of you in the UK the method we are exploring for you is accepting "Wallie Cards" and "Paysafe" cards which you can purchase in drug stores and gas stations.
0

AshleyAnn

No offense but I dont really care about the employers I shop there cause its cheap and has everything in one place. If people didnt like working there then they should leave to a new job. I am sure walmart treats people like poop but i dont hate the store because of that. i hate the people who run it. wont make me stop shopping there because of it.
0

Book

For all people wondering why some of us don't like Walmart, google "wake up, walmart". The site's a bit outdated, but it's still unfortunately applicable. :/
0

rhino_loupe

I use Paypal atm, that works fine for me

I assume they won't be available in Europe anyway.
0

Serpent

I probably wouldn't buy one myself because Paypal is just more convenient for me, but if I could persuade relatives to get it for me as a gift instead of money at birthdays then it could be useful.
0

story_168

Wal-mart is fine. Why don't people like it? :/

I love this idea, though. c: Wal-mart and Target are fine. But maybe 7-elevens? Dx Those are pretty international, right? And there's a lot more of them scattered around. c: In any case, I'll definitely buy some.
0

Maja

Answered no. They'd never be sold in my country anyway
0

CassieFenix

I'd like that option, especially since I don't purchase CSC online (cause I don't have a credit card or PayPal), so I think this'd be a great option.
0

NaRaNa

i prefer paypal
0

Lypsyl

I love the idea of the cards, don't really care which store they're in, don't have paypal. I don't really see an 'incentive' to buy the cards - isn't that the point of CSCs in the first place? This is just another method for getting those. I also have some concern about the cards being internationally available.
0

foggster

It depends whether you could do that without ending up owing money to the companies that carry them in their stores. It would cost money to have them printed, and there might be things like contracts that could make fore compromising circumstances.
0

AshleyAnn

Reason why I had said yes is mainly because I dont trust paypal or any internet for money things so I would love to be able to walk into a store like walmart or target and get a $10 gift card to use for cash shop credits.
0

SecretlySorry

Poor Wal-Mart getting bashed for bringing low prices at convenient places That's an excellent idea. Us, people who don't have paypal for whatever reason, can totally join into the fun of being Cash Shop buyers if that goes through!
0

Blastoise

yes thank you, i have the money but can't get it on the computer
0

leinef

For those who aren't able to use paypal, it's going to be great As for me, I don't live in the US and I don't even know if there is a walmart in Germany... xD' I'd prefer paypal anyway
0

bobbityboo

Sorry, turns out Wal-mart = Asda. Never knew that. Just hope Target has a UK equivalent. And also HMV could stock the cards.
0

bobbityboo

I hope that the UK get there share of cards. Wal-mart and Target are all fine and dandy, but don't exist over here!!! But Toys-r-us is a rubbish place to sell that kind of stuff. Supermarkets would'nt stock them, so Game, Gamestation (woolys is bust ) WHSmiths etc. would be viable options. At least then I would be purchasing a real object than online currency
0

xpandagirl

its definitely an excellent idea.
but i'd much rather buy it from Target than Wal-mart.
0

Ahreinya

Absolutely! I am unable to use PayPal, so I can't buy CSC at all, until something like this is implemented.
0

Book

I wouldn't buy it from Walmart. I'd much rather not use Paypal if I could buy it from a store, but I will NEVER shop at Walmart again unless they wake up.
0

SEA

Okay...from the comments in this news post, I have a few things to get off my chest...

Yes to the real cards.
Hell no to the free gifts for redeeming them, or something. Until the cards were available worldwide, that wouldn't exactly be fair. =/

Respect to Keith for valuing the user's opinions though!

I personally prefer Target but would go to Walmart too i DO know this if im out and shopping and paying bills and stuff i am more likely to grab a card than to use paypal ... when i use paypal now im always afraid it wont regerter in my bank quick enough (sometimes takes 4-5 days) and ill forget and get overdrawn

BUT if i got cash on me and am in a store ill buy one and not think twice cuz i dont have to worry about a stupid $30 over draw fee .... Not to mention it would make my kid extreamly happy she could use her babysitting money to get CSC instead of having to ask me to buy her a GA with my paypal and then have to pay me back each time
0

MidnightShadow

YES!! Although I rarely step foot in a walmart and would much prefer you sold them at Target.
Either way, I would be very happy being able to purchase these in a store as I don't have or intend on getting a paypal account.

AshleyAnn

Not sure why so many people hate walmart from reading from the comments from the beginning. Jhundor: I have "dignity" walking out of walmart. You sound as if people who go shopping at walmart are cheap or suttin. Just sounds odd I wouldnt say K-mart cause there isnt any k-marts around where I live they all moved down south I think. I cant really think of any other stores other than target and walmart cause those are everywhere. Heck you can sell them at mcdonals they got those everywhere haha im just joking about that.

Kingshollow

I already use paypal... but if it's like another site with an item reward (or something) for a big amount spent, I would definitely make the trip to buy one in a store. 'XD

Plus my dad may prefer to have me buy from a store, so I may be able to buy more credits.
0

AshleyAnn

PuddingCup: its because most people have a walmart near them then anywhere else. I am sure you would be okay if you wanted to get a card to go to walmart :/
0

bruja

The Wal-Mart part ruined it for me. I hate Wal-Mart with a passion.
0

Sasuke

It would be great to go to Wall-mart and get a card, paypal is a pain in the but
0

Damon

YES, YES I WOULD! I like that idea very much! I kinda get frustrated with paypal... so I'd love a much easier alternative
0

AshleyAnn

Not sure if this is a good idea but maybe for the people who get the paypal and gift cards every time there is a monthly gift for them or something... I know we get free gifts but what about just gifts to them for using cards and helping the site out. it could be a better way to sell cards i dont know :/ just thinking i still like the idea cause i would go to walmart and get cards
0

AshleyAnn

Yes, I would because I refuse to use paypal and would love to get cash shop credits

I am overly joyed with you though, Keith. You at least ask your users for their opinions, instead of just going right along and proceeding with an idea. I highly respect you for that.
0

Petcollector

I think some people have the wrong idea. This isn't about "secret codes" and special prizes, it's just a way that people who can't, or don't want to, have PayPal, can still buy CSCs and support the site. I know I'm going to get the A..kisser flames, but I am seeing Keith try really hard lately to listen to the users and implement the things they are asking for, and this is one of the things. If you haven't watched his latest video, you might want to.

I would definitely buy them
IF YOU DO THIS MAKE THEM AVAILABLE IN CANADA PLEASE!

I don't have paypal but I've always wanted to support Subeta ad buy some credits.
0

DwI

Whoa.. it deleted a line..

And accept all forms of payment..
0

Affirmation

oops, missed Keith's post while typing my last one. I understand that hiring programmers costs a lot of money. But I know I'm not the only person who has either stopped spending money or has drastically cut down the amount spent in the past few years. If the site was more stable and the features we're promised would actually come out, I would spend A LOT more money on here. Why not work on getting the current loyal users to spend more (by making the site better) than getting new users to spend money? That way you'd be making current users happy and more likely to stay here.
0

DwI

Well, you could set up eBay lots lol
And Accept all forms of payment ><
it'll save you money on the production of the cards and I think everyone would be able to purchase that way.

I hesitantly voted "Yes"... if I were buying cash credits from Subeta at all (and I'd certainly like to), this would certainly be my preferred method. Because I don't have a credit card at all, so have to hassle my husband to use HIS Paypal; and of course he buys them for HIS Subeta account and sends them over, which kinda flouts the excessive gift giving thing you're not supposed to do when you share an IP... in short, it's a hassle, and an option to fork over physical cash would be very useful.

However all that is theoretical, as nothing alters the fact that I'm too poor to buy cash shop credits in the first place (except maybe a few like right after Christmas or a birthday or something). So in that respect I would not be "inclined to purchase" 'cause I just can't afford to. That's assuming such a scheme made it to the corner of the world where I live in the first place; which is fairly unlikely.
0

SilveryBeing

I answered yes. I would be more inclined to buy a physical card than use paypal.
0

Affirmation

I have mixed feelings about this. I had to vote no though, in the end. Like many people have already said, I do not want this site to become like neopets. I agree about membership skyrocketing (and not necessarily in a good way either). I already use paypal with no problems, so I would personally probably never buy them, unless there was some extra benefit of buying the cards vs using paypal (because paypal is far more convenient for me), but that would be getting to be a little too much like neopets. I know it would help out people who can't use paypal, but I think the bad far outweighs the good in this situation. And like one person already said, I'd be far more inclined to spend more money on this site if it was more stable. Spend time on fixing broken things first, then add new things.
0

osterizer

Just about anything **but** Paypal is fine with me...
0

Jeryn

I think Walmart is slightly better than Target..at least walmart is both Canadian and American. I live in a tiny town, but we still have a walmart. Its all the way across the other end of the city, but still, at least I can get there.

You get the users to spend a nice deal of money on this site as it is and in the past few years of my time here, it hasn't been that stable.. Downtime and Rollbacks are not very good, especially when you're spend money on GA medals.. I would finish working on EVERYTHING that needs your attention first.. like cults, the hair salon, the little bugs that fill up the Bugs Forum.. When you get all that worked out on a stable level and only leave room for improvement, I'd say "Knock yourself out! What a GREAT Idea!"..

The thing is... to fix those problems we need money to hire developers? We don't have a "fix problems" button that magically fixes things. There are two programmers currently working full-time on Subeta (myself and Alx) and there is a lot more than just rewriting and fixing bugs for us to do.

To hire more programmers (which I'll be honest, are the most expensive part of the subeta team) we need money.
0

Nebet

This is such a great idea, since I don't have paypal. I'd be able to buy a lot more CSC. ^^
0

DwI

I voted No..

ThePaperNinja

Yes, that would be great!! (Can't use paypal, grr...)
0

Morticia

I voted yes, but ....

I hope it will be available on this side of the planet as well. And then use tank stations and toy stores as outlets.

Ehhh, what kind of shop is Wallmart exactly ?
0

ixtab

I would but it'd be kind of weird. I've always viewed Subeta as like.. the "independent, underground" website where Neopets and Gaia (OH SHE SAID IT SHE MENTIONED THE ~~OTHER SITES~~) were more mainstream.

Great idea but I hope it doesn't bring unwanted traffic to Subeta (i mean like trolls and dumb shit)
0

Petcollector

I think it's a great idea for the many that don't have access to Paypal, but I think it should be in stores that are more far reaching than Walmart, such as K-Mart, in the US. Walmart tends to only be in the larger cities and many people don't have one nearby - my closest one is 3 hours away. I already use PayPal, but know there are many who really want to be able to buy CSCs.
0

Martel

I like this idea, since it stands to reason that there are a lot of people who can't use paypal or have parents who aren't willing to pay for them.
The cards cover the people who can't use it, and paypal covers the people who don't want to use the cards.
0

PNUK

That'd be great, but this would probably be available in a American stores, which is a bummer....
0

SassyJelly

I agree, Jeryn.
0

twink

I said yes, but i also have a few nos.
Yes, because I like the idea of not having to always use paypal to buy CSC.
And no, because.. Walmart? You're better then that Keith But if it's, "like, wamart" then yeah, I'd buy them from a store I could walk out of with some dignity :3. No offense walmart shoppers, but me and my family are serious anti-walmarters. xD It's uh, personal lol. And like somebody above said, I wouldn't want subeta making a huge event and promotion for the cards like super rare amazing items and stuff for redeeming cards. Overall... 50% yes, 40% no, and 10% "I really hope you don't end up becoming like neopets"
0

AloneInShadow

However, if you do decide to go that route, expect membership to go through the roof. Hope the servers are up to it.
0

SEA

The only problem is that this would probably only be in America for an awful long time so I'd probably have to stick with Paypal anyway. But hopefully it could be introduced in Britain and other countries as well eventually.
0

Shuvva

YES YES YES YES!
*doesn't have paypal*
0

Immortal

I like this idea...I like going to buy my things out of the store rather than online. I still use paypal here and on places like ebay, but in store would be a lot better IMO

omg..BESTEST IDEA EVER! I always have to borrow my parent's credit card but this way, I could use my own cash. xD

FFFFFF, heck yes. My parents don't let me use paypal, but they'd let em buy cash cards DDD
0

ARU

I believe it is a good idea for those of us who cannot purchase through Paypal, though users living in different countries would have trouble getting those cards since finding a 'nationwide' store to sell them at would be difficult.
0

moonstone

at present i have no way of buying CSC except by using sPs, so the prospect of having cards we could buy in a RL shop is a great idea...
0

Mirabel

I use paypal, and I'll probably keep using paypal but I think it's in overall good idea.
0

Hosui

I hardly ever purchase cash shop credits now cause I don't feel like going through the online process. I buy everything with sp. But I would be very much inclined to just pick up a cash card at walmart or where ever when I'm already buying other stuff. Plus they would make great stocking stuffers come xmas!
0

Friskysquirt

Well we have Asda which is owned by Walmart in the UK.
0

Miriel

Well I'm from Germany and I don't think they will be sold here. And even if the would be sold here I only would buy them if they would have a special item because I can use paypal and that's more comfortable

Agreed.

I said no as I sometimes have money trapped in my paypal and I prefer to use that for online buying
0

Constellation

I think it /is/ a good idea, but I agree with Flem - I live in the UK, and of course walmarts don't exist here. Also ~ I found that when Neopets started selling merchandise irl there were benefits such as special codes that could be redeemed and used on the site. This was unfair as UK users (and other countries) couldn't redeem the codes. That's the only issue I have. But other than that, great idea
0

Megan_799

Pretty sure they said foreign equivalemt tomtom, that means it will be in other countries as permitted.
0

User not found:

Guys, he added "or a foreign equivalent", so don't worry about not having a Wal-Mart. xD
But yeah! I'd been waiting forever for an option like this. Seeing as I have cash, but no credit card. xP
0

Syre

ooh, it's been quite some time since the last poll, hasn't it? :0
Indeed, it could be nice with more options.. but I don't think it would affect me either way, since there are no wal-marts where I live.
0

aquarius_518

I answered yes.
It'd be really awesome if we could have that, but plz make them available in Europe too.
0

Lykaon

as long as we still can use paypal im fine, people who dont live in The Us shouldnt be ripped of of the cash shop
0

Marlboro

I chose yes but please don't make a special items and other stupid things for redeeming the cards like the other site is doing..
And please, make it available in countries outside of the USA and Europe too (Hint: Middle East)
0

i would LOVE this. i don't have a credit card. but i have cash
0

Santa

I agree, its a great idea.

I don't have paypal, so I hardly ever buy items from the cash shop. It'd be much easier if there were cards in stores.
0

AROMA

Don't you think the suggestion is a little too much like a certain other site for comfort. Don't get me wrong it'd help a lot of users, but this scares me.
0

hermes

as long as the paypal option isn't ridden of, i'm good ;p
0

Mirror

But this card is not world wide isn't it?

Like..its not in Estonia..
We don't have a Walmart..(or what is it called)..

And i can't even use Paypal (-kicks debet cards- )

0

If I could buy them at say Wal-Mart, then my hubby would never know how much I was buying, unlike now using paypal...

Great idea!
0

Islandgirl101

i would really like that. because i dont have a paypal or anything for the cash shops. So if there was a card in the stores, then i would be able to purchase things from the cash shop then
0

JoAnna_119

If there was cash cards in target I'd probably buy more This is a horrid idea.
