Reward shops have opened for the Pirates and Islanders who fought in the Omen Islands War on Delphi's coast! Although the crew of The Freyalise is still on their journey to bring the girls home to safety and the Islanders are heading to their home, each faction has sent a liaison ahead to thank their friends for the efforts put forth in fighting for their cause. Make sure you stop by to collect your prizes soon, as the authorities in Delphi have only authorized these shops to be open for a short time.

i always thought the winning team got a prize as well as shop thing too for the points...but hey i am still a newbie here...reaching my 1 year mark on subeta and all...it was hard to get the 112 pts i got in the RS war since i did it between university courses work and really have not much choices in the shop...i was on the Pirates team...oh well...sad to say it kinda makes me feel like the time i spent catching restocks to get rarity items might have been a waste for me...beautiful designs of the prizes in the Pirates shop...just wish i had the RS pts to get the really pretty ones like the plushies...you designers did great on those prizes to do them up <3

I'm disappointed with the Islander Prizes.
The Pirate ones have a much larger range of types of items. The Islander ones are pretty much all clothes with a couple of minions thrown in.

I have to admit, I'm kind of amused by the complaints from people who blew their last few points on 1 RSP items before the announcement of future cheap items came along, thinking they had to buy fast because the shops are threatening to close soon. Guys, that doesn't mean the shops will close in like... an hour. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_raspberry.gif" border="0" /> Staff knows by now that the users here represent many different time zones and hours of availability. They would leave the shops open for AT LEAST a couple days. I hate to say it, but if you emptied your pockets on grass skirts and monkey blood, it's kinda your own fault for being overly hasty.
I also have no problem with the items being insanely expensive. In previous RS wars, people only got a few prizes based on how they did; this is just the same, except you get to CHOOSE those few prizes. We weren't meant to be able to afford ALL of them.
What I do have a problem with is the diversity among the items in the two shops. The Pirates get books, minions, weapons, plushies, and wearables in pretty even distribution... while the Islanders get the same few wearables over and over again in different colors, a couple of minions and weak weapons, and a <i>postcard</i>? I know the Pirates won, but that kind of gap makes it feel like the Islanders didn't even come close or put up a fight worthy of being recognized. :

Alright, I'm starting to get sick of the complaining.
1. If you say "I'm not good at restocking or battling" or "I didn't have much time" that doesn't justify asking for lower prices. If anything, it should just mean that this event wasn't for you. There are plenty of other events throughout the year that you can participate in, and its nice to have some designed for specific skill sets. Time is a factor for everyone, so you're not the only person who has to worry about how much time they can spend here. Many people probably had less time than you, its what they did with that time that counts. You may have been restocking your heart out, but if you aren't an experienced restocker or don't have a fast computer, you're not going to do as well. That's true for restocking at any other time of the year. One week out of that year when an event is made for restockers and battlers means that people who put a lot of effort into becoming good restockers and battlers are going to do better.
2. Prices. If all the items were cheap, they'd be worthless. Part of making the event worthwhile is having people who do particularly well get more. Prices are going to be high in order to guarantee that. Having an item out reach usually makes someone want it more, so accept that some items are going to be out of reach for everyone except the top 10-15 people.
3. Item selection. Most people are going to have a problem with this because they want specific things. Some Pirates want more wearables and are envious of the Islanders, while some Islanders want more Books and Plushies and are jealous of the Pirates. That's just how its going to be with a split prize shop. Some people can't RS real well either. I only got 32 points and couldn't get any higher cuz I couldn't half remember any items and when I did find a list the site was down through most of it when I needed it, and the fact that I was a bit slow to get any of the items. So to me it was kinda pointless. Never got that high of points and theres not any items there that I can get. Its kinda disappointing.

Most people complaining didn't just sit on their butt and expect to have super great prizes. Just a little more variety.

I do like the items, but the prices are way too high. I restocked as much as I could and can still barely afford any of the items. I don't battle, and it seems a bit unfair that people who do battle had such a huge advantage for gaining points.

Pardon me for saying so, but what a rip-off <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_sad.gif" border="0" /> I have 25k points and which while that isn't much in comparison to some it took a lot of time and all I get for my trouble is a bunch of junk items (grass skirts? really?). There should have been a 25k (or 30k or 35k) item for those of us who have real-world jobs and simply didn't have the time to sit and endlessly click through battles. I'm extremely disappointed. I'm sitting the next one out.

Actually, there were four Islanders who qualified for the Wrath - I know there were more Pirates who could buy the sword (and one who could get two x.x), and given that they're god weapons - that's about right, in my opinion. I just hate the lack of variety on the islanders side. We have 15651567897 recolors of grass and beads. Oh yeah, we have a zillion recolors of flowers too. x.x

I only got 114 points but I didn't really.. try so I accept that I can't afford a lot, and even if you worked hard for a small bit of points just... get over it. Keith even said he'd add in more cheaper items soon, so just sit and wait and don't get your panties in a bunch.

I'm not going to buy anything quite yet in case more items are released. xD; But... it does seem like things are a bit pricey. I was on here a LOT during the RS war and I battled as much as I could without going braindead, but I only earned 1000 points, which is almost twice as much as the average anyway... ._.; So I really hope you guys plan to put a few more things in that are affordable to those of us that... did not get spectacular scores. I'd rather not use up all of my points on one or two items. xD

Even I can do math and I am REALLY disappointed that the prize prices don't reflect AVERAGE points. Whoopee that some people can sit for hours battling or RSing but a lot of us have jobs, kids, school etc. I wish there were some high end items priced along the average, not just for the people who "kicked ass" so to speak.

I'm a little bit disappointed in the prize distribution. I got 2876 which I thought was decent, and yes there are some Island things I want but nothing that jumps out at me. I feel bad for those who got even less points. I mean, last restock war I got only 226 points and got a Sebastians Phoenix Toy, which still goes for like 7 million today. And I was happy with it. I kind of wish they still had the old system in place. Oh well. I will wait to see what other prizes they offer before spending anything. Thank you guys anyways for putting on this event.

At the risk of being flamed, I am EXTREMELY disappointed. This event started out as relatively benign, a water balloon fight and token gifting to the sea. Then some bright bulb decided to add battling to the Omen Island Festival event achievement list! Enter the Restock War, again relatively benign. If one enjoys the Battle Coliseum, that is one's choice. There's an entire achievement section for battles and those of us who prefer not to fight can ignore it without a qualm. However, the staff has added battle wins as a must-do to not one but TWO Subeta-wide events! Battling is an action I object to and I am insulted that we who prefer not to beat things up for fun are being penalized for it.
Subeta Staff, your insistence on making violent behavior more highly rewarded over less aggressive actions is disgusting. Yes, Subeta is a game. Yes, pets are only pixels. The Pirate stuff is really adorable, especially the minions! I am going to have to be really particular in my shop choices because of the prices, but I do like having a choice, compared to the previous years when we only got one item, and no choice. Big props to the artists, very nice prizes, thank you!

Entirely agree as well. You either had to be *really* good at battling and have a really strong pet which not all of us *do* (plus the equipment needed to defeat them was expensive!), or you had to religiously stalk the shops. I happened to have been up at my girlfriend's house the entire time, and I'm lucky we both had computers to get on for this x.x

First, I love the site and would never leave, but I feel constructive criticism is due. The prices are way too expensive. For those of us who work, go to school and could not be on the site 24/7, we have been priced out. Not only that, I don't think that it is fair that we can only buy from one shop. Just my POV. I really don't like complaining on here because I really do love this site, but... I don't know. I feel really dissatisfied with the islander prizes... and everything is so expensive! The one item I want is way out of my price range, and the only reason I want it is because I thought it'd be wearable, but it's *not*. Ugh. I would have loved to see a wig or something, or maybe some npc themed items. Not... grass skirts and hair doodlies, which don't do *anything* for me at all. It all feels sort of *bland*. Sure, the pirates did *win*, but the event was themed around the island, and we put up such a good fight, and it was so close in the end anyway! x.x

Actually there has always been a prize that only the top few could afford... so 4 or 5 having the highest priced items is perfect. Yes everyone worked hard, but the top scoring people deserved the 50k price tag on their item.

I don't think the point is to be able to get a ton of items from the shop. We're lucky we get to even choose what items we get since in past years we were rewarded ONE item based on our score. The higher end items are probably there to reward the people that put in that extra bit of effort to reach 50k+

Okay, I'm confused. The highest item is 50k RSP, but if you look at the top 25, 20 of them can't even afford that. The Highest Priced item shouldn't have been more than 20k RSP.

I'm gonna have to agree with everyone else and say that all of these prizes are very expensive for such a short event. I know that there were some people who got tens of thousands of points, but I think the majority of users were lucky to break a thousand if they could battle, and if they were restocking only they probably earned less than that. I was really proud of myself for earning over a thousand points, but unless the lower priced prizes are really spectacular I'm going to be a little disappointed. <img src="http://images.subeta.net/smilies/6398_emoticon_sigh.gif" border="0" />

Yeah, the point prices are a bit...meh. I know it's impossible to get ALL of the prizes anyways, but you have to know that at this rate, they won't even be obtainable for pure sp either because anyone selling for a profit is going to charge insane amounts, most likely. I also dislike that it's kind of an fu to people that DID work hard, but still didn't rake in that many points.

I love the pirate prizes; wish I had enough points to get them all! (I got about 2500 rs pts) Like a few others, I would like to know if the points will hold over until the next rs war. Because there are such big gaps between the prices, and not very many below 100, I ended up with the odd amount of 46 points left over.

Wow. Just really. Wow. So many people worked hard and had to go to work (or even school) and a lot of people don't battle or have fast internet connections. And then you price things this high? It's really ridiculous considering how hard a lot of people worked for their points. Especially when towards the end when the shops weren't restocking with the rare items as often. This was a very disappointing event in my opinion. Why would you guys price these items so high? Just so the top re-stockers could get nice things? I understand making it so the freeloaders don't get anything, but really....it's just...ridiculous. If this is how all the restocking prizes are for the restocking wars, then I'm not so sure I even want to participate in the next one.

Sorry to gripe, but this will probably be the last time that I work that hard at anything, and I DID work hard. I know that Pirates won, thanks to the last minute efforts of a couple of people, but I find it totally unfair that ALL of the plushies and books went to the pirates. I think the monumental effort of both sides should have been recognized. Congrats to those that made 10K+'s of points (and had no life outside their computers, heehe), but I think the grading curve got a bit skewed on this one as the average points were in the 480-490's. At least there are a couple cheaper items on there for us poor folk ^-^;
