This weekend happens to be bonus weekend for the Cash Shop! If you buy Cash Shop Credits this weekend with Braintree/Paypal (Tanzanite Narcissi) or Stripe (Garnet Snowdrop), you'll get one of these awesome items plus 15% bonus credits on top of your purchase. The bonus weekend will end at 4pm on Monday!

PS: for those who've been complaining about waiting a long time for payments to appear, I found that those who use Braintree will have to wait two business days for most cards. If you want to know more, check the questions section on the Braintree website and click 'see all questions'.

And Braintree can be used by typing in your CC (credit card or similar). You can just type in your CC info into the blank boxes for Braintree and Paypal would (or should) direct you to the login page for Paypal.

I have a question; for the Braintree item, can I use PayPal and still get it, or does it still have to be Braintree? I tried making an account for Braintree, but it seems like it works more for businesses rather than regular people...
Thanks for the previews, @Wolf_Spirit! Try as I might, these and the wolf dreamcatcher are like, the only three things that refuse to preview at all for me. Everything else seems to be working (the entire new Delish sets show up fine, for example). Helps with deciding. <3

@?TaintedTamer @MOKONA It was originally planned to change this month, although with the various downtimes we've had we decided to take this opportunity to move it around a little. We're going to start releasing it around a week BEFORE the bonus weekend starts, just to make sure it's all working correctly before the influx of csc purchases. We couldn't start that this month, as it would have shortened the cards time, so we're going to be starting next month. There will be a notice about it in our next actual cash shop item release (looking at you, delish)!
Also about the Free Shop, we gave everyone the time it would be closing on the original post for it (back on the 15th, one week ago). We were very upfront about it closing at 11:59pm! We hope you guys enjoyed everything you got (even the ridiculous amount of Melody Items, which you can now frag! ;)).

You're right, it's completely fine to feel upset when something doesn't work how it should but I've noticed (especially on news posts) that sometimes people have a tendency to state their opinions in ways that are harmful rather than constructive. Wish we had a new Rewards Card! Mine is all filled up sadly. But at least I got two new pretty items now. :D
Also, why is anyone complaining about the Free Shop? That was AMAZING and I got so lucky with some of the stuff I managed to pick. I'm so grateful to the staff for that full week of free goodies! <3

@Natsume Not looking to argue(!) but just clarify that yes, the original post did say Friday at midnight, but like you said there were consistency issues with connections for a lot of people throughout the week (502/504/other). So, it wasn't an out there possibility that they may have updated or even extended the time. And yes, it is disappointing for those that didn't have the luck IK I was grateful to have, so I was hoping for those that they might get an extension tbh. It's not owed to anyone and they were nice to have it go on for a week, of course, but just saying that its understandable where the disappointment is coming from. And people express disappointment in their own way, that's not to say they're wrong for it.
@MarissaUnderground: Well, I could get my CSC by Stripe and you could get some extra CSC from Braintree and I can trade the spare snowdrop with you...? If nobody has offered to trade with you yet?
@Amber: Um... Wasn't the Rewards Card supposed to change this month too? On the Rewards Card page it states: "There will be new cards released every 3 months or so - complete with new stamps and prizes!" Seeing as the last one was released on Oct 23, 2015?

The original news post for the Free Shop said that it would be closing Friday at 11:59pm. They do usually post reminders on the day of or within the last few hours but I guess this was just one of those rare moments when there wasn't one. People had an entire week since the 15th to try their luck, though the site wasn't exactly stable consistently throughout the giveaway so it's understandable that people feel angry or disappointed, but even if you weren't lucky at least all those junk items you got (plus the melody ones now) can be fragged for crystals if you happened to keep any of them. Personally, compared to the last giveaway they did like this there seemed to be a lot more decent items thrown in rather than being solely a heap of recycled melody items plus a random non-melody item here and there. Well, there's always next time! So don't get too discouraged.

@Stiles there's being disappointed and wondering about it, like you were, and then people who are just downright ungrateful about it, saying it was worthless, because of the errors. Big difference.
@Wolf_Spirit I was one of the ones commenting about Free Shop, too, in this post because there wasn't a News update about it closing for sure at midnight, like there usually is. And while Free Shop is free and it was great to some of us and of course a nice gesture in general, I don't think it was completely out of line for those that weren't lucky with the items they got to be disappointed that since there was a lot of down time throughout the whole day today, to wonder or again, be disappointed that there somehow wasn't an extension of sorts. The site was down for hours for a lot of people on the last day, so I imagine it is really disappointing to those that didn't have the luck that say I did and some others did, to get every chance they thought they were supposed to. It doesn't mean they're being ungrateful, it just means they're understandably disappointed that they might not have received some of the items others did, and to some, that they didn't get the full chance to. Anyway, everyone has their opinion, that's just mine.
@quo ungrateful much? Be grateful you got anything. Staff COULD have said, "We're not going to have the Free Shop anymore." Even though there were errors, a lot of people still got some great items. As the old saying goes, "have an attitude of gratitude."

Update: you actually DO get the bonus csc when the purchase was inbetween the last 24 hours (thanks to a friend who told me that!)

@Wolf_Spirit Considering you've had to tell some of us, and a few others have complained they just bought CSC before this happened, I doubt a lot of people did know. If it was ever officially mentioned, I missed that.

Previews are broken for me too. But the art is lovely. I always wait to buy credits for the bonus weekend. It comes every month.
@mswcpw1989 you haven't been following the news? Every month there's been a new Western Zodiac set by Delish, one for guys and one for girls. They've all come out the first weekend of the beginning of each sign which is when the bonus weekends are.
Question: is there any way we can be updated a few days in advance that this is going to happen?
