You know I've always been curious as to how they pick each theme for the month and what items go into them.
Get HYPE! Super excited for the new pet...and these items are all gorgeous! I'm in love with that background...simply stunning. So much detail on everything in this set. Gahhh. I need all the things. Wonderful collection! Love the OZ reference too. I can't help but wonder if the amulet is a preview of the new species...either way, bring on the elephants!

I love the collection, but Oz wasn't a dream. Dorothy and family eventually move there permanently. And the shoes were silver!

I was really hoping the Carved Pink Elephant item was the minion this month but alas, its another bunny. These are some very lovely, soft colors this month. I am quite enamored with the concept and items released. Excellent job artists, thank you :)

Between the Shengui Guo features here, and dreams/nightmares, a nod to Fatal Frame III would be cool this month, though I'm not getting my hopes up.

@hell, @riedy: the new pet will look very different, I assure you! I am very good at distinguishing what's behind a silhouette after figuring out what it's based off of!;) And as for the color pallettes, items don't necessarily share the same format as a critter or pet; it all depends on the artist. Also shouldn't rely on the pallettes in the picture, they're pretty pale for use on a pet, it's just a rough sample... probably even translucent in comparison to the REAL colors used!
