Free Gift: Look For The Helpers

The world is too often gripped with terrible tragedy. Natural disasters, unfortunate passings, and deaths that should never have had the chance to happen. It's easy to feel the weight of events crushing down upon you, and to this, we say: look for the helpers. See that there is still caring in this world. Maybe even be a helper yourself.

Thank you so much for this beautiful tribute. The world needs more peace, love and hope right now <3
This made me tear up~ I love Mr. Rogers, and I always remember this advice. Thank you so much for this.

If anyone hasn't seen the clip of Mr. Rogers talking about "look for the helpers", go find it and watch it. It's well worth seeing.
That man was a treasure.

Beautiful! I have several friends that were involved.. one working at the Mandalay Bay in the parking garage.. she was trapped there several hours.. Thank God they are all safe. Thank you guys for this. <3
Love this. Besides being a lovely message of hope and unity, it is a tribute to the ones lost, the ones who helped, and the ones who survived because of them... plus sort of a Fred Rogers tribute as well. Thank you.

There's been too many awful things happening lately, one on top of the other. This helps remind us that there are plenty of people who will do good. And, there is a lot to do out there, with a world full of turmoil.

When I heard the news here in Australia I was heartbroken for the needless devastation, heartache and sorrow this individual, person creature has brought.

We live in dark times. Instead of playing on your cell phone when you are idle, be vigilant. Look around when you are in public. And never forget to look up.

thank you for this; today has been a heavy day. And that's one of my favorite quotes. It's so easy to spend all our time hating the villains; but it's much better to look for the love.

It feels weird to say thank you for this gift, because of how and why it came to be, but thank you for the thought and the creation of a beautiful tribute, and my thoughts are with everyone <3
I pray that everyone here who had family in attendance at the event or were near enough to hear/see/feel/know the setting got to see them home safe. I know I am beyond blessed to have my sister home in one piece, and can only hope everyone else gets to say the same. <3

Thank you for the gift and hope. I have an appointment Thursday to donate blood. It's the least I can do.

I pledge to ALWAYS be a helper. No matter what is going on in my own life, I will always help. I've been heartbroken over the people hurting in Puerto Rico and elsewhere affected by the hurricanes and now this. I just do not understand it.

Thank you so much for the warmth and kindness! Today's events were unfathomable, even through the extremely busy workday. Not one patient I encountered even breathed a syllable of what happened--not one. They were all worried about themselves and their medicine. Many were so terribly selfish. How ironic is it that the ones I see willing to send love and light are those on a game--many not even in the same country.
Again, thank you!
Again, thank you!

Far too often, reality kicks us in the stomach with news of tragedy befalling countries and the people that live in those countries, both the ones we live in, as well as abroad. Often, that tragedy gets broadcasted more than the shining lights of hope that keep us from feeling complete despair. It's easy to feel like it's hopeless, like there is only nothing but negativity, selfishness, and despair in this big world of ours, but this free gift reminds us that, regardless of disastrous events, there are still amazing people out there who pour out their hearts to help others, even in desperate times.
Thank you, Subeta team. You guys are too thoughtful.

Simply beautiful... thank you, Subeta... I have no more words for all this heartbreak but my thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones...
Very appreciated, especially in these troubling times. Today has been little but bad news, but this definitely helped me remember that there is more than just negativity.

Thank you, I was waiting for this from you today, and I knew you wouldn't disappoint us. I have no more words, just sadness. :'(

Praise for the first responders and the ordinary citizens who showed such love and such heroism last night. Thank you for the tribute.

Today has been one helluva horrible year.
Thank you Subeta for being even a tiny light when the world around us seems to be falling apart.
Sending love, hope and prayers to all.

And remember that even though we hear more about the bad stuff, there is still a lot of good in this world. You may have to look harder to see it, but it's there. <3

This is beautiful, thank you. Made my eyes water ;-; it's so important to remember this.

Thank you for the wonderful & uplifting thoughts. If we've learned anything in the last year it's 'We Rise'.
