So sad to have seen the news of her death, she and George can jam again at least R.I.P to the Goddess of Soul
Very beautiful tribute. Just glad she was surrounded by family and friends and, hopefully, went rather peacefully. Crazy, though, because I had just heard the news that she was in hospice the other day. :(
Couldn't come at better time with awesome tribute. I was a little down when the news suddenly popped up (she hasn't passed yet at the time but article was consoling saying she's surrounded by friends and family right at the moment article was written... I was a little insomniac and was reading news at middle of the night instead of sleeping). I remember thinking "no, no, no, no, no" while reading and getting updated until I crashed and finally slept. I had a lot of respect for her and her music.
RIP Aretha Franklin! My heart goes out to all of her loved ones and fans as they mourn her loss. My mama loved her music and she was one of my mom's favorite singers. Aretha's family will be in my prayers as they go through this difficult time in their lives. Thank you, Subeta for the amazing tribute to the Queen of Soul.
The Queen of Soul was part of the soundtrack of my youth and beyond. When I heard she was in hospice I knew it wouldn't be long. Requiescat In Pace Aretha. #RESPECT ?
What an amazing person, a voice straight from heaven; RIP Aretha Franklin, you will be missed.
