An oddly freckled Angelic Dragarth smiles gently at you as you enter the room. “Hi,” he says warmly, putting a wrench down on top of some strange –looking equipment. “Did you need something?”

You stumbled out an apologetic reply; you hadn’t really expected anyone to be in this walled off room.

“Oh, it’s fine,” he responds kindly. “I was just working on my 3-D maneuver gear. It’s nothing that can’t wait. Why don’t you sit down and we can talk a while?”

You sit in a wooden chair at a small table as the Dragarth brings a loaf of bread and a couple cups of coffee and sets them down in front of you. He sits down as well and smiles at you. “I’m Marco, by the way.”

You introduce yourself as well and ask him what he was working on when you walked in.

“Oh, that?” He looks back at the work station. “I was just doing maintenance on my battle gear. All routine, I promise.”

You’re surprised that he can work on something that complicated looking. You can’t even begin to understand how it works, let alone contemplate its inner workings.

Marco blushes and scratches the back on his neck. “Oh, it’s nothing. I’m sure you could do it if you tried.”

You shake your head furiously, you know you couldn’t.

“Well, thanks.” He smiles sheepishly at you. “I probably should get back to it though, but you can stay, if you like.”

You don’t really want to intrude, but you also don’t really want to leave this sociable Dragarth’s warm hospitality, so you nod. You sit and watch as he tinkers with the complex equipment, enjoying the pleasant small-talk and friendly atmosphere until the approaching night convinces you to leave.

Hobbies: Not much is known about what Marco does in his free time, as he so diligently practices his Titan hunting skills, but he is known to enjoy working on 3-D maneuver gear and repairing it, together with his friend Armin.

Personality: Marco is an exceptionally kind, hardworking, humble person and is always there if a friend or fellow classmate needs an encouraging word, or a helping hand. Naturally charismatic, he is befriended by almost everyone he meets.

Marco is the type to make the best out of bad situations and is an exceedingly optimistic person. He is a strong leader, able to comfort and calm panicked comrades and keep morale high. He has a highly strategic mind and considers real-life battle situation even during training and acts accordingly. He thinks of everyone’s abilities and devises a plan around them, often putting himself as bait because he considers himself the slowest.

Marco wants to join the King’s controlled Military Police after graduating the academy, but not for the usual reason. Most want to join because it is the safest, most comfortable job you can have fighting the Titans, protecting the people in the inner walls, far from any real danger of titans. Marco wants to join, however, for the honor of working close to the king and the opportunity of protecting the people.
