Lialah was once a happy fester who lived out her days flying high above the trees and basking in the sun, a free bird. One day as she was flying high into the clouds she spotted something shimmering in the mountains. She flew in closer to investigate, eventually landing beside the object, a beautiful blue sapphire glowing in the sun. As she approached she was captured by a witch, who whisked her off to a deep frozen cave in the mountains where she spent the remaining 300 years being the witch’s servant, spying on her enemies, keeping watch of her valuables, the magic from the witch and the cold of the mountain had turned Lialah’s hard to ice. Her body took on the appearance of the snow and her personality, a once happy, light hearted, and free fester was snuffed out by the bitterness of the cold mountain.

This was until Mari came. Freeing her from the witch’s grasp and taking her along as cargo, little did Mari know that the prized bird of the defeated witch would soon become her best friend.
