Legacy Name: Coleta

A long, long time ago, there was a lady named Coleta. Her husband's name was Robert.
While Robert wasn't the easiest guy in the world to get along with, Coleta saw right through his hard exterior. She loved the man underneath. The one who was intelligent and witty, and who loved his family above all.They never had an easy life, but they did make the best out of it and they had a lot of fun in their own way. When times got hard, they stood by each other.

But when Coleta passed away, the real story began.
She never intended to leave Robert behind, and she had never prepared him for life without her. She had been taking care of him for decades and she had always known the right thing to say, to make him stay out of trouble and to help him maintain his friendships when all he wanted to do was say just what was on his mind, even if it hurt other people, and be alone.
But now, without her, he stopped being nice to others altogether, and soon he got what he wished for and was entirely alone. And he didn't like it whatsoever. After all those years, he finally understood just what Coleta had done for him, and how badly he had needed other people in his life.

But he had no idea how to undo what he had done to his friends and family, or how to apologise. Every single day, he wished he could go back in time so he could learn more from Coleta, and try to do as she did: be kind and patient with others. See the joy in everyday things. Understand how none of us is meant to be alone, and work hard to make sure it never happens.
If only he could talk to her one more time and ask her for advice. She always seemed to know what to do in social situations, and everyone always loved her. Without her, he was nothing but a bitter old man, and his life was all falling to pieces.

Up in the sky, Coleta looked down on him and she was heartbroken. She wished her kindness and patience had rubbed off on him over the years, and that he would take the responsibility now to keep his life on track, even though she wasn't there anymore. But she watched their friends and family distance themselves from him, and she saw him caring less and less about it every day.

And so she watched him silently for what felt like ages, realising there was nothing she could do...
