It's dark and you've been in your room most of the night. It's obvious at this point you need some form of sustenance: food. Upon this realization, you stand up. The instant you stand a faint jingling can be heard coming from downstairs; as you peek out the doorway, he is already there. All you see are two large eyes and a white chin. You are frozen. He is frozen. If he doesn't move, you can't see him. You make a break down the stairs and he launches. You can hear him trip in his excitement, buying you time. Upon making it downstairs, you rush for the kitchen, but you can still hear him furiously thundering after you. The surroundings are horrifying; there are gouges in the walls, claw marks on every surface, the bodies of slain toys litter the battlefield. You've made it in one piece, but you make the mistake of looking back. He was waiting for this moment. With an intimidating mrrp sound, he lunges across the room, leaping several feet into the air. He latches onto your body. You almost scream in surprise. Just as fast as it happens, you can hear him hit the floor and peel out; he is nowhere to be seen. How did you end up in this situation?

Bek was adopted two months after the unexpected passing of my last cat, Chuck. His hobbies include being annoying, destroying everything, slapping dogs' butts, and making constant blrping noises. He enjoys playing fetch, going for walks, and riding on peoples' shoulders. I strongly regret not naming him Stan, Lord of Heck.
