"Drusie? Drusie? Are you ok?"

Druscylla blinked her eyes open and looked into the worried face of her Ji-Meneb friend, Olivie. She then looked to and fro, identifying her surroundings as home.

...home?

The last thing Druscylla remembered was closely examining a guitar. Lucent? She and Olivie had come all the way to Centropolis to see it on display. But no, the guitar had changed somehow. Then a voice, and then...nothing.

"What happened?" Druscylla asked.

"You mean, you don't remember?" replied Olivie.

The big snake froze, afraid. That answer sounded ominous to her. "...no?" Had she done something bad? Was anyone hurt?

"You don't remember...changing? Singing...?"

Druscylla's heart constricted. She slowly shook her head no. Her expression told Olivie that she absolutely had no memory of such a thing.

- MIDTOWN, CENTROPOLIS - Visitors to the Weapons Expo in Centropolis Saturday got an extra bang for their buck - or an unwelcome diversion, depending on who you ask. A young human woman, seemingly without provocation, jumped atop a table and began screaming, said witnesses. The young lady held a large, two-necked guitar, which she then began to play effortlessly. Despite the guitar clearly being electric, yet having no power source nor being hooked up to any sound system, its music could be heard loud and clear for miles, according to even more witnesses (some of whom were not even at the expo).

Weapons expert and local celebrity millionaire Saggitarius identified the guitar as Catastrophe, one of several famed Legendary Weapons. "What truly puzzles me is that Catastrophe wasn't even one of the weapons on display here today," he told the Centro Gazette reporter. "Only Lucent. And yet, somehow, it ended up in the young lady's possession."

Once the young woman began playing the legendary guitar, several bystanders began cheering her on, a movement that spread rapidly and eventually encompassed several hundred people. The crowd then sang along in perfect unison to every song in the young woman's repertoire.

"I'd never heard any of those songs in my life, man!" crowed one crowd member who was interviewed shortly after the incident. "But I could like, feel it, right? The music just came pouring out of my soul, man! It was amazing! I felt like I could take on the world!!"

Other participants reported similar feelings of euphoria and power as they listened to the performance. Security attempted to escort the musician away, but quickly fell under the thrall of the music as well.

It is unknown how long the impromptu concert would have lasted, had the mystery woman not suddenly collapsed. Another young lady, perhaps a friend, attempted to revive her without success. The mystery woman was then carried off the makeshift stage and taken to the hospital downtown for treatment. Her condition at this time is unknown.

"I hope she's okay," another witness told the reporter. "But you know what else was wild? That huge guitar she had? Just vanished! Poofed away like magic! Hey, you think that's what the whole thing was? Some kind of magic spell??"
