Chile's parents are both originally from Chile. When they immigrated to America, they wanted him to always have a connection to his heritage and named him after the country they were from. Chile grew up loving his name, even if some people struggled to pronounce it occasionally. His childhood was all about food and home and he took to cooking like a natural. When he decided to go to culinary school as a young adult, his parents supported him full heartedly in his dreams. He's now one of the top chefs in America, with plenty of rave reviews about him. He works at a 5-star hotel restaurant owned and located in the famous Devlin Hotel. He often talks with Verner who's a regular at the restaurant he owns.

Verner
[ Boss & Boyfriend ]Verner may own the restaurant that Chile runs, but that doesn't mean they aren't close. Chile trusts Verner to leave the decisions on operating the restaurant to him, and Verner trusts Chile will maintain the restaurant's amazing reputation. Both of them would talk regularly whenever Verner stopped by to eat at the restaurant and eventually they became good friends. Chile developed a bit of a crush on the billionaire that owned his restaurant as well, but worried about revealing his feelings to someone he's such good friends with. He also, admittedly, felt insecure when it came to the class difference between him and Verner. Chile's from a poor immigrant family and worked for everything he has, while Verner- who's also a hard worker- was raised in a life of privilege by a wealthy family. Thanks to Landan's pestering though, the two are now dating. And while a bit shy around each other and still with equal amounts of insecurity, the two are slowly figuring out how to make their relationship work.
Meike
[ Employee, Mentee, & Friend ]Meike may be a young waitress, but Chile sees the potential in her for her to be an amazing chef. Chile has taken the young teenager under his wing and teaches her all he knows about being a chef. Chile is also aware of Meike's crush on Verner, though Chile has always done his best to discourage it because of the age difference and because of the less-than-stellar reasoning behind Meike's crush. But, now Chile is especially determined to discourage Meike now that he's dating Verner himself. Because Chile is keeping his budding relationship with Verner on the down-low, Meike is unaware of Chile's relationship with Verner and often talks with Verner about her own feelings despite Chile's discomfort and disapproval.
Myca
[ Friend ]One of Chile's favorite customers. Every time Myca comes in to eat when he's in town, Chile makes sure to take the time to come out and talk with Myca. Chile loves to hear all of Myca's travel stories and hear about all the amazing places that Myca has surfed at. Chile sort of vicariously lives through Myca, and Myca is happy enough to share his adventures with Chile.
Landan
[ Friend ]Also another regular customer of Chile's. Landan is a sweet guy who clearly is an amazing matchmaker. But, hopeless at matching himself. Landan was always able to see that both Chile and Verner had feelings for each other, but both were too stubborn and insistent on keeping things professional to ever reveal their feelings to each other. Landan has always been encouraging of Verner and Chile's relationship though, and eventually thanks to Landan's meddling and pestering, finally Chile and Verner took a chance on each other and started dating. Landan often credits their continuing to success as a couple to his amazing matchmaking skills. Too bad he's still hopeless when matching himself, but Chile's always there for Landan with comfort food whenever the man needs a pick-me-up after a bad date.
Mikhaila
[ Friend ]Meike's big sister and also one of Chile's friends. The two of them have bonded over watching over Meike. Chile loves to listen to Mikhaila's stories about the traveling she's done for her modeling career, and Mikhaila loves to learn how to cook healthy but delicious meals from Chile that work for Mikhaila's strict diet.
