Once upon a time, the kingdom of Brünner was a prosperous and peaceful land ruled by the Queen Seraphina Rosenfeld. Along with her faithful retainer, Ser Alexander DeMontifar, she dreamed of breaking down the rigidity of the social structure and bringing an end to King Oswald's slowly intensifying plot of cruelty. Without Oswald, Seraphina and Alexander would be free to love and live safely, as would their children and all the others who lived in Brünner.

However, it was on one fateful night, a night that should have been filled with hope, that the Dark King murdered Seraphina and framed Alexander for the act. Princess Sam was captured and locked deep within the castle - claimed to be murdered by Alexander as well, but that could not be further from the truth. Brünner quickly began to fall apart as those loyal to the Queen and her knight were exiled or murdered as traitors, too. A terrible storm consumed the kingdom, locking the capital city in a state of undeath and leaving a perpetual rain to fall eternally.

It wouldn't be for another ten years that Deiderick DeMontifar, the son of Alexander, would return to gather his father's old allies so that they may destroy the Dark King once and for all - and rescue his childhood love, Princess Sam. With the odds heavily stacked against them all, will our heroes find a way to return the kiss of the sun to Brünner?

Brünner is a fantasy/drama story created by User not found: voidprincess and Scotty, set in a fictitious world reflecting the 16th-18th centuries of Germany. The full story contains a plethora of dark themes, and as such, is not intended for consumption by minors. However, it is as of yet unpublished and unfinished, remaining an ongoing roleplay setting.
