"Hey, it's me, ya boi Hellstar here streaming on Twitchcraft, and today, we're going to be casting a spell! Now, this one is a take on the traditional "witch's bottle", and it's used to neutralize the power of those who intend to hurt your reputation, in any way pose a threat to your security, or who want to do you physical harm. You can even follow along at home, if you want!"

The Bottle Spell

As they speak out what components they'll be using for the spell today, they pop each one onto the table beside them.

"You'll need:"

₊‧⁺˖⋆ "Black thread, for tying it off nicely."

₊‧⁺˖⋆ "Black ink OR a black ballpoint pen. But we're using an inkwell and feather quill, because that's sexier."

₊‧⁺˖⋆"Parchment, to write on."

₊‧⁺˖⋆"A bottle with a cork stopper, to put everything in."

₊‧⁺˖⋆"Mortar and pestle, for grinding everything up niiiice and neat."

₊‧⁺˖⋆"One white candle, for wax-gathering purposes."

₊‧⁺˖⋆"Four tablespoons of oak moss, for adaptability, endurance, and strength."

₊‧⁺˖⋆"Four tablespoons of sea salt, for purification and protection."

₊‧⁺˖⋆"Four tablespoons of PyreIron Shavings, also for protection! You can get this from The Sable Smithy."

₊‧⁺˖⋆"Four tablespoons of frankincense, for cleansing and-- you guessed it! -- protection."

The Spell Itself

"Now, you're gonna start by mixing the sea salt, oak moss, and pyreiron in the mortar, and use that pestle to grind 'em up real tiny-like. Okay, now you're gonna set it aside, and grab your parchment, and cut a piece of it to be able to fit into your bottle, and--"

"Oh, thanks to cerpin for the re-sub! 69 months, nice."

"Anyway, use the black ink and quill to write:"

'I neutralize the power of [name of your adversary] to do me any harm.
I ask that this be correct and for the good of all. So mote it be.'

"Now, roll up the parchment, tie it with black thread to bind it, and place it in the bottle. Then, you're gonna fill the bottle with the dry ingredients (sea salt, oak moss, and pyreiron). Pop the cork on that bad boy, then it's time to get LIT! The candle, that is! Take the white candle and, while turning the bottle counter-clockwise, drip wax over the cork to seal it! Lastly but certainly not leastly, secretly bury the bottle in a place where no one will eeeeeever find it, or dig it up! Even animals. It should never, eeeeeever be opened or dug back up, or the power of the spell is, like, lost! That bad boy is sacred. So mote it be, indeed."
