Aescula is an oneiromancer, meaning dream explorer. She's acquired the magical skill of dream projecting, where she projects her mind outside her body when she sleeps, making her able to explore anywhere she normally couldn't while awake in her physical body. She can effortlessly trek poisonous swamps, swim treacherous waters, and cross inhospitable deserts; but is unable to interact with any objects, and has trouble floating, let alone project somewhere far up like the moon which she wishes to. She's adamant about projecting herself into the local planets of Subeta's homestar system before her roommate, Floffy can build a rocket to do just that first. In the meantime, she enjoys exploring urban areas in Centropolis, Darkside, and Shadowglen (particularly the Underground) with this skill, recording her findings into her dream journal.

Her magical tools is anything purple, whether it's purple flower herbs, her purple dream journal, purple candles, purple blankets and pillows, and various purple altar pieces. She usually is covered in lavender juice to concentrate her power onto herself, keeping it from radiating off of her.

Even though she prefers dream projecting, there's upsides to urban exploring in person, like taking physical photos, and being able to take home that shiny amethyst bracelet found in at that abandoned manor in Shadowglen. It'd make a great apotropaic charm.
