I was just going to walk away and leave it be. But as I turned my back I heard, "Yeah! That's what I thought, you stupid, weak girl." My body seemed to turn around on its own and without hesitating I reached for the arrow sticking out from the quiver on my side and shot at him faster than he could blink. The arrow buzzed through the air and pierced straight through his shoulder like a sharp blade of ice. He looked up at me in disbelief, as if he couldn't believe he was shot, in shock that I even had the nerve to do it in the first place. I grumbled "Don't you EVER assume, brother, that just because I am a girl I am not any better than you". He did not respond, just pulled the shaft of the arrow out of his fresh wound and turned away with a sour grimace on his face. I do not understand these men. What makes them think they are so much more powerful? No other warrior was born of the burning glacier. They cant even
begin to compare their battle prizes to my collection. One day they will learn to respect me and all my fellow female warriors..they will regret the snide remarks and ignorance they have shown us.
