-- Forged by the Unknown to serve hims as a vessel, Amar's creation marked the birth of the vampire race. While he holds aligence to the Unknown, he is much more likely to do what best serves his own purpose.
-- Amar's power is fear and he has been granted the ability to look deep within a person, identify their deepest fear and exploit it.
-- Like those lesser beings that have descended from him, Amar craves blood as sustenance. But he can also draw out a being's soul energy to feed on. With their soul devoured (or stored away for later use) the being in question cannot be re-born.
-- Amar's main pleasure is torture, he reveals in the gore and is said to bathe in blood for cosmetic purposes. This has become lore in the vampire realm. And may be attributed to Amara being so covered in blood from torturing that it looked as if he had bathed in blood.
-- For centuries Amar spurned marriage but was finally wed to a woman, Takalia, daughter of the Living Legend. Amar's first love is the one he sees in the mirror and if it can be said he truely loves his wife, then it could be because he loves the part of himself he sees in her.
A Bit About Vampires: The vampires of Gaira have the ability to go out into the sunlight. But they can't stay out in it for to long, because it weakens them and makes them feel sick. To protect them and make them able to roam their lands, Amar used his magic to put permanent grey clouds over the vampire lands. Because of the lack of sun they pretty much have no colour at all. They also need blood to survive, males need more blood in a day then females do. They can live a long time but as time goes on their body slowly withers and becomes frail. They also have the ability to use shadow/dark magic but not all to strong. Only the ones directly descended from Amar have the strongest of magic and age the slowest.
