You appear to have found an old journal. The journal's handwriting is scratchy and strange. The first few pages of the journal are as follows:

This body of mine is rather odd. I have eyes almost everywhere on my body, and I am able to see out of all of them, all at once.. but I choose to keep to the four on my face and the two on my shoulders. The ones on my rear will loll and cross of their own free will in the meantime. I did notice while using my secondary shoulder eyes that I have two sets of ears atop my head. They appear quite fuzzy and soft, but I cannot touch them. There is also two long, thin antennae that I can use to poke objects with, and I can smell a little bit with them, somehow. I prefer using my nose, however.

I have four legs, all equipped with heavy black-clawed paws that are somewhat clumsy, but I am getting used to moving around somewhat stealthily with them. I also have two small arms coming out of the front of my chest, and I use them to pick up and handle small objects that I am presented with; usually food or toys when my master is feeling generous. And now, I've noticed, there seems to be stubby paws sticking out of my shoulders under my secondary set of eyes. I can twitch the fingers sometimes, but otherwise, they are useless.

I've also become aware of a row of spikes lining my back, and a secondary set of what seems to be teeth going around my neck. They aren't very useful, at least, not right now.

My master gave me this strange creature, half-cephalopod, half-cat.. she named it 'Spee' and thought it would be a fitting companion for one like myself. It does not speak, only communicating in small squeaks, mewls, and growls to show its emotions. Occasionally it will disappear right in front of my eyes--I believe it has some sort of natural cloaking mechanism.

Life is difficult, but I am at least glad to have the chance to continue living. My master's other companions give me strange looks, but I believe they have grown to accept me as their new 'friend'.. They call me Jesu, but my master seems to like calling me V-9 instead. I do not know what the V stands for.. I have made a few friends outside of my Master's care, one of which is Sparkledog. They are very energetic.

Anyway, I will continue to live on in this new body and write my experiences down in my journal.

There doesn't seem to be anything keeping you from reading the rest of whatever's written in the journal of this strange pet..
