Keagan Francis O'Neal

Born October 14th, 1994 in Belmar, New Jersey, gamer, "amateur" cosplayer, "writer", role-player.

Many would say that it was because Keagan grew up with four older brothers that he became the way he is now. Some people would even argue that it was because he had an inadequate father growing up, which is MASSIVELY untrue. The truth is that Keagan is the way he is because thatâ€™s what he feels the most comfortable as. Keagan, you see, is transitioning. He was born and assigned the female gender, but never truly felt comfortable in that gender role. He never liked playing with dolls or cooking sets, never liked wearing dresses or frilly things, and would always have more male friends than female friends. It irritated his mother to no end that he â€œchoseâ€ to be boyish and shun everything girly. It was because of his mother emotionally and verbally abusing him for wanting to feel comfortable that Keagan blamed himself immensely for his parentâ€™s divorce halfway through middle school. Once he was under strictly his fatherâ€™s rule, though, things became a little easier on him. Being the youngest kid of a divorcee dad, though, means itâ€™ll be a long time before Keagan can get money for the surgery necessary to fully transition to the gender he feels was meant for him. His father helps him out as best as he can, though, buying him clothes that suit him, making sure he has a binder that fits just right, and even moving him into a more accepting school and neighborhood when he was getting picked on for how he dressed. Itâ€™ll be a long, rocky road for Keagan, but heâ€™s prepared for whatever life throws at him. Heâ€™s found his own group of friends, who he accepts as extended family, and he frequently partakes in MMORPG games and tabletop role-playing games with them. His girlfriend, Mickie, has also recently gotten him into cosplay, though sometimes the suggestions she gives him seem a bit outlandish for a beginnerâ€¦he adores her anyways, though.
