You walk slowly down a long hallway. You’re admiring the lovely artwork hanging on the wall. The scenes are beautifully rendered and all of them are happy and bright. Several people seem to reappear. The air suddenly gets cold, and you wrap your arms around yourself, trying to fight back a shiver. A deep shuddering breath escaped your lips and fogs up in the frigid air before you.

Abandoning the artwork in the hall, you duck into a nearby room, hoping to get out of the cold. A chill runs through you. It’s colder in here than it was out in the hall!

A low grunt catches your attention and you spot a Glacier Legeica training with a dummy in the corner of the room. You recognize him from some of the paintings in the hall; he was in quite a few. Then you realize a big difference from the paintings. In those he was fully clothed, but currently he was wearing nothing but a pair of short black boxer shorts. Embarrassed, you look away, and decide it might be best for you to leave.

A voice abruptly cuts through the chilly air. “What you are doing here? Are you a new guild member?” He stands defiantly, with his hands resting on his hips. He doesn’t seem embarrassed at all! So shameless!

You sputter out an apology, saying that you’re sorry for bothering him; you were only trying to get out of the cold. You rub your hands together, as if to emphasize the point, but really you’re only trying to keep your fingers from freezing off.

The Legeica looks bewildered, “It’s not really that cold.”

Without meaning to, you say that he obviously doesn’t think so and your eyes travel down to his shorts.

“Huh?” Confused, he looks down- and starts freaking out. A strangled yell escapes his throat. “When did that happen?!” He begins to rush around, you assume that he’s looking for his clothes, but decide that it might be best to make your escape in the confusion.

Hobbies: When not on missions for the guild, Gray tends to spend much of his time training, both his physical fitness and his ice magic. Though he is always up for relaxing with his friends. This time tends to dissolve into fighting with Natsu, however (either physically or verbally), which some might argue is Gray’s real favorite pastime.

He enjoys winter sports and activities, and is quite fond of snowboarding.

Personality: In most cases Gray is a pretty laid-back person, but when the stacks are high, or his friends are depending on him, he can be very determined, risking everything to succeed. He is willing to do whatever it takes to save a friend or comrade.

Gray used to be incredibly reckless in his fighting style, but has grown to be more cautious, using strategy instead of blindly charging in. He is still prone to rash behavior though, especially around Natsu. They seem to bring out the worst behavior in each other.

Gray has an odd penchant for stripping without realizing it, a behavior that he learning while apprenticing under the Magician Ur. To learn to be comfortable with the cold that came with performing Ice-Make magic, she had him and her other student, Lyon, train in little clothing. This habit transferred to his everyday life and Gray is now often seen wearing far less than is appropriate. When called on it, Gray becomes extremely embarrassed and immediately re-clothes himself.
